Enjoy numerous amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, Netflix, 2 adult kayaks, SUP, large floating dock, lots of water floaties, outdoor games, a firepit, & great fishing as well! It's an ideal getaway to recharge and relax away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.

The space
With its prime location on the tranquil shores of White Lake. Step inside The Birch and feel instantly at home. The cottage boasts a cozy and inviting interior, featuring rustic yet modern décor and comfortable furnishings. Enjoy your days exploring our 3.7 acres of forest and nights spent nestled by the fireplace. The property also features a brand new bunkie with a stunning view of the lake right from your king size bed. We have a brand new Hot tub on a raised deck overlooking the lake so you can enjoy the privacy of The Birch. Our lake also is great for fishing 🎣

Our lake is a reservoir lake for the Trent Severn Locks system and the water levels are controlled by a Parks Canada dam located down the road from the cottage.

For this reason we advise the best dates for swimming are any time before August where there is approx 5-6 feet of water in front of the dock. By mid September there is approx 1 foot of water in front of the dock and by October the water isn't accessible anymore.

*DO NOT DRIVE ON WHITE BOUNDARY RD. IT IS NOT MAINTAINED AND CAN BE VERY UNSAFE. GPS IS WRONG IF IT DIRECTS YOU THIS ROUTE.*

Other things to note
*DO NOT Drive on White Boundary Rd. It is not maintained and can be very unsafe. GPS is wrong if that is the directions is it telling you to take. If coming from the West, it is best to take Galway Rd. and if coming from the East, it is best to take Salmon Lake Rd. Salerno Lake Rd is also another option.*

*As of October 1 2024, per the Highlands East Short Term Rental Bylaw, all bookings will be subject to a 4% MAT tax (Municipal Accommodation Tax).*

We do not rent to minors under the age of 19 without parental supervision.
