THE BRICK HOUSE
When renovating this property, no stone was left unturned and no detail was overlooked! To maintain the Charm City character, we left the original wood flooring and exposed the original brick from when this property was constructed over 100 years ago! To add a touch of modern style to the property we completely sanded, stained, and refinished the hardwood flooring to a beautiful mahogany color. And to bring this property into the 21st century, we installed a bevy of smart home features which should make your stay more convenient and enjoyable.
As an end-unit townhome, this property receives tons of natural sunlight through the many windows on the front and side of the property. We've installed black out, top-down, bottom-up shades for you to allow as much sunlight in or block as much sunlight out as you'd like. Located in a very safe, calm, & quiet neighborhood, you'll notice peace and tranquility is the norm around here. However, on occasion it is so quiet that you may hear the train or fire trucks off in the distance, as this property is located squarely in the city.
KITCHEN
A large open-concept kitchen area with a ton of counter space and bar seating. The brand-new stainless steel appliances anchor the space and invite all cooks to chef it up on the gas stove. The kitchen is stocked with spices, pots & pans, and cooking utensils to ensure all your needs are met. Complete with both a wine bar & a coffee/tea bar, this kitchen is ready for day and night.
BEDROOMS
Each bedroom contains a queen bed, a smart speaker w/ voice assistant, a luggage rack, a bench, and a closet. Within each closet is an iron, iron board, extra pillows of varying firmness, and an extra blanket/comforter. The main bedroom contains a Smart TV with Roku and a dedicated work desk w/ comfortable chair.
SECURITY
-The Simplisafe Security System (monitored by local law enforcement) affords you and your belongings peace of mind. In addition, there is a fire station 2 blocks away in case of emergency.
-There is also a Ring Video Doorbell Camera just outside of the front door. For peace of mind and privacy, there are absolutely no cameras in any areas accessible by guests.
SMART HOME TECH
-Smart lock for keyless door entry.
-Sonos Surround Sound + Wireless Subwoofer are located in the living room. You have to experience it to believe it. These smart speakers can be controlled using either the Sonos smart assistant or Alexa smart assistant. These speakers can also sync with the Sonos speaker in the kitchen, so bring your best cooking dance party playlist.
-There are two Smart TVs in the property with common apps pre-downloaded and ready for all the binge watching you can throw at it.
-Super fast Wi-Fi to power all of the smart home devices + whatever devices you bring.
PARKING
There is FREE parking on the street in front of the property. There is also FREE street parking directly on the side of the property. There is a one-way street adjacent to the property that requires permits to park once you pass the alley behind the property. Please read all signs to be sure you are not parked in a permit-restricted parking spot. There are no reserved parking spaces. Parking is first come, first served, but there is almost never any issue with finding parking within a block or two.
Guest access
Guests will have access to two bedrooms and one full bathroom on the upper level. Guests will have access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room (half bathroom), and laundry room on the main level.
RESTRICTED
Guests will not have access to locked closets / doors, and locked closets / doors may be monitored by a security system camera. Any evidence of attempted access into a restricted space will be considered breaking & entering, and trespassing.
Other things to note
CHECK-IN/OUT
-We cannot store luggage on arrival or departure day.
-Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request.
-At the sole discretion of the host, early check-in availability is determined on the day of arrival, and late check-out availability is determined prior to check-out date.
-The early check-in fee is $35 per hour up until normal 4pm check-in time.
-The late check-out fee is $35 and late check-out is 12pm (noon).
-Late check-out can only be added to the reservation prior to check-out date. If you request late check-out on check-out day, or overstay past normal 11am check-out time, then the late check-out fee is $80 and will be deducted from your deposit.
PROPERTY ITEMS
We take inventory of each and every item after each and every stay. Anything that is lost, broken, or stolen will be accounted for and reported to Airbnb for reimbursement. Please ensure all guests are aware of this to avoid being charged for your guests' actions. If anything is lost or broken during your stay, please be proactive and notify us immediately. We are very understanding that mistakes happen, and if we are notified in advance, we can be as flexible as possible with this policy.
PETS
While we love pets, and we would love to welcome them, pets are NOT allowed into the property due to liability for host and guest allergies. If there is any evidence of undisclosed pets being brought into the property, there will be a $300 pet cleaning fee.
