The space
"Twiga" (pronounced twee-gah) is the Swahili word for "giraffe".
As you walk through the front door your eye is automatically drawn through the Living Room, Solarium and Patio to a 10' metal giraffe sculpture in the back yard. Hence, the name!

We've continuously and meticulously remodeled and upgraded our home, as we are both architects. Our style is an eclectic mix of contemporary and super comfortable furniture. Sculptures (some handcrafted by us), photographs and artwork acquired from frequent travels, fill the home and the rear yard.

The Kitchen is set up so you can prepare your favorite gourmet meals.
Appliances, equipment, utensils, place settings and basic spices provided.

We want you to relax and enjoy our home as much as we do!

However, as this is our primary residence, we've restricted access to the following rooms/areas: Garage, 4th bedroom and closet at the end of the hallway; 1 closet (of 2) in the Den, Pantry in the Kitchen, 1 (of 2) walk-in closets in the Prime Bedroom, 1 walk-in closet in the Study, and the Attic.

We ask that you please be respectful of the home, the contents, our belongings, and the neighbors.

Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind is allowed in or on the property. This means outside on the patios as well.

Other things to note
We do have several security cameras onsite, however there are no cameras in the sleeping or common areas of the home used by guests. Access is via electronic lock with a unique one-time code provided before arrival (good for entire length of stay).

A Ring doorbell monitors the front door, and 2 live stream security cameras monitor the front circle drive and the rear driveway. Three other cameras monitor locked rooms and areas that are off limits to guests.
