Take a step back in time as you stay in this restored 1920s service station which was once a stopping point for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. With exposed brick, reclaimed wood walls, original tin ceilings, and a penny floor, this place is one of a kind! Nestled in the heart of the “sweetest town in Texas” spend your morning drinking coffee on the patio or eating breakfast at our repurposed Coca Cola cooler table and waking up to the sound of birds singing. 10 minutes from Bois d’Arc Lake!
The space
This cozy abode features one bedroom, one bathroom, walk in shower, living room with a sleeper sofa, kitchenette (equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and two burner hot plate, along with basic kitchen essentials: pots, pans, bowls, dishes, and silverware) and laundry area. Outside you will find a private back yard with a comfy seating area, propane grill, and 9 hole miniature golf course! This shady space is the perfect place to spend your evenings relaxing!
Guest access
You will have the entire place to yourself along with the fenced in back yard and plenty of parking out front.
Other things to note
House rules: Absolutely no parties allowed. No more than 4 persons present on the property without prior authorization. No smoking inside, no smoking outside. No pets. No loud music. Please be courteous of the neighbors and please treat the items inside and outside of this home with respect. Please don’t rearrange the furniture. Please respect check out time and procedures.
If more than 4 persons are present without approval a per person fee will be added to your charges.
Check out procedures - We do not charge a cleaning fee for your stay and therefore ask that at checkout you please take the following actions.
-Make sure all dishes have been washed and are either on the drying mat or have been put away.
-Remove trash bags from kitchen and bathroom trash cans and dispose of them in the garbage can outside.
-Turn off both AC/heat systems unless instructed otherwise (you will receive a message the morning of check out)
-Place one load of towels along with shower rug inside the washer with a Tide Pod and begin a cycle
-Leave bed linens on the beds they were used for
-Make sure all putters and golf balls have been returned to their shelves
