Neighborhood highlights

Penygroes is a quiet village with a variety of shops, cafes, takeaways and a traditional pub. Many businesses in the village are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays however the Co-op is open 6am-11pm 7 days per week and Caernarfon is only a 10 minute drive away. The Lon Eifion cycle path follows the route of the now closed railway line from Caernarfon to Bryncir and is a 5 minute walk from the cottage. On the outskirts of the village you will find Pant Du vineyard where you can buy wine made from their own grapes or enjoy some lunch in the restaurant (booking usually required). Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) can be seen from various places around the village as well as from the upstairs rooms in the cottage.

Hi I'm Justyn and I’m lucky to be the owner of 2 AirBNBs in Penygroes near Caernarfon. I purchased an old building that was once a Labour Exchange and converted it into 2 holiday cottages. They have been designed to be light and airy with high ceilings and are finished in a very modern style. They can be rented together if required. I hope you enjoy your stay in North Wales with its stunning scenery, great walks and superb places to dine out.
