Adventure awaits you in our mountain oasis! Or relax at the cabin, listening to the tranquil sounds of the fresh water going by. Very close to Waynesville and Asheville! The space
Terrapin Lodge log cabin is a cozy, comfortable mountain getaway with all of the modern amenities you desire! The first floor includes a very large master bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom/stall shower, living/dining areas, full kitchen, remote-controlled gas fireplace.TVs in every room, high speed cable internet, wifi throughout, large front porch with rockers/swing, large back porch becomes an extension of the living area, with BBQ grill, comfortable seating and dining table. Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms: 1 queen bedroom with large closet, 2nd bedroom/bathroom suite has 2 twins, bathroom with new stylish clawfoot tub. The lower level includes full bathroom, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, k-cup coffee machine), large TV and ping pong table. From the lower level, access the outside "grotto":screened patio with seating, large hot tub, and TV. Enjoy the large, spacious yard, walk a few yards down to the creek or the river for wading, fishing or just to watch the water go by!

Neighborhood highlights

Terrapin Lodge is easy to access. We are located at the beginning end of a long, quiet, dead-end gravel road, surrounded by tree-lined mountains. The front of the home is semi-private with a few homes in view, providing a safe location for your mountain vacation in a small residential area. The back of the property has an empty field on the Pigeon River side, making the entire porch and hot tub patio extremely private. We are located in a mountain valley on the Pigeon River, in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest area and extremely close to many of its' attractions! The small town of Cruso has a wonderful mix of country charm and modern conveniences.
