Set on almost 5 acres, Tempus Bonum is designed for family groups or friends holidaying together.
This spacious residence comfortably sleeps up to 16 people (Max 14 adults) over 7 bedrooms, and features a large pool, full-size snooker table, bar, fire pit, a chef’s kitchen, children’s playground and several large indoor and outdoor entertaining areas.
Situated less than two hours from Sydney, and less than 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Jervis Bay, Tempus Bonum is built for fun!
The space
Family groups will love the playground, outdoor entertaining, pool and room to play with the pristine, calm beaches of Jervis Bay close by.
Friend groups will love the large seating options, bar, games room, firepit area (not during bushfire season) and huge kitchen- perfect for catering for large groups.
The rural quietness of the area means noise can disturb our neighbours. We have a strict no parties or events policy and noise restrictions are enforced. There is to be no noise that can disturb our neighbours between 10pm and 8am. This property is not suitable for Hens parties, Bucks parties, or sporting teams.
Tempus Bonum sleeps a maximum of 14 Adults and 2 children. We may be able to accommodate additional children in existing bedding, please enquire.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, office desk and daybed (that converts to a king size bed), split system air conditioning and an ensuite bathroom with corner spa bath, double vanity, toilet, shower and walk in wardrobe.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 have king size beds and share a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with large bath, shower, vanity and toilet.
Bedrooms 4 & 5 have king size beds and share a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.
Bedrooms 6 & 7 each have two single beds.
The laundry has another bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Available for guest use are a large capacity washing machine and dryer, double sink and lots of bench space.
The formal loungeroom features large comfy lounges in front of a combustion fireplace and 75" smart TV with Netflix. A ten-seat dining table under a huge chandelier is perfect for special dinners. There is also space to read a book or have a chat in the sun filled reading nook.
Cook up a storm for all your friends or family in the large kitchen with a commercial fridge, two gas cooktops and 90cm Smeg oven. Store away your groceries in the butler's pantry and have a casual meal at the 6-seat dining table. Two sinks, a dishwasher and heaps of bench space make clean up a breeze.
For serious relaxing head down the wide hallways to the casual living area to an 8-seat round table next to the bar with cards, board games and poker set provided. In winter, fire up the combustion fireplace or open the verandah doors for a summer breeze.
The sunken rumpus room has a full-size snooker table to play snooker, pool or kelly pool. Those not playing can watch on from the enormous lounge (also perfect for napping) or check the sports score on the 75" smart tv.
Heading outside, a large, covered verandah with views over the backyard and paddocks runs along the north-eastern side of the house. A ten-seat teak outdoor table with wicker chairs is lovely for all meals or head round the corner to the lounge setting for a quiet coffee.
Within the enclosed yard there is a saltwater swimming pool and an undercover BBQ area with seating. The sculptural firepit is second to none.
The kids will go nuts for the playground with a raised dual fort design boasting a slide, climbing wall, climbing net and fireman's pole. If they get bored with that, there are soccer and footy goals, yard games and various balls.
The paddock falls gently towards the dam, and you can watch the ducks come to land on the water from the comfort of the timber dock.
Tempus Bonum is located 5 minutes from the upgraded Woollamia Boat ramp and there is ample space to store your boat while you stay, and a circular driveway for easy turning.
Huskisson and its pub and cafes are 8 min away, Vincentia 12 min away with Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. Nowra and its amenities are approx 16 min to the North perfect for groceries click and collect on the way.
The Shoalhaven area has over 100 beaches, and Jervis Bay has 16 with, according to the Guinness Book of Records, the whitest sand in the world.
Additional house rules:
Children must be supervised at all times and in particular in the paddock as it has an unfenced dam, in the swimming pool and on the playground.
No swimming in the dam.
Please respect our property and furniture. We will require reimbursement for any damage to the property.
The firepit may be closed and unavailable for use based on local fire danger.
Guest access
The whole property is for your use except for the sheds, studio and storage room.
Other things to note
Tempus Bonum is a rural property with uneven terrain, unfenced dam, pool (fenced), and is frequented by wildlife.
Children must be supervised at all times.
