The Black House Studio are cozy/serene spaces idea for the solo or duo traveler. They are situated in the Overlook neighborhood, one of the city’s many desirable neighborhoods and are close in proximity to the Mississippi and Albert Arts District.
Located less than 10 minutes from downtown off the I-5, you are in the middle of everything that PDX has to offer. The studios are just a short walk, bike ride or Lyft from local grocery stores, restaurants, nightlife, parks, entertainment and more.
The space
The studio units comfortably accommodates up to two guests in a full size trundle bed.
Each unit is accessed through a private and secure entrance from the outside. This allows guests to come and go as they need without being a disturbance to or disturbed by the host.
Each unit is also equipped with a kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, dishes and utensils), a wardrobe closet, a writing desk, a full bathroom with a shower and all the basic personal care items you might need for a short-term stay, including bath towels. We also provide (2) complimentary bottles of water and a coffee/tea station.
For your entertainment, you have FREE access to Netflix, and an echo Bluetooth device where you can ask Alexa to play your favorite genre of music, give you an update on the weather or local traffic and more.

Guests enter the studio unit through a private and secure entrance from the outside. A keypad door lock provides quick and easy entry into the unit.
