The space
Tapas Stays is not your regular villa. It is a traditional village house that we renovated into a modern, comfortable home inside. We are located in a peaceful local village community, just 17 minutes from Pokhara Lakeside and 7 minutes from the main Pokhara-Baglung highway. You don't just get the villa—you get full access to the entire property, which spans over 2 acres of beautiful land. If you want a quiet getaway with great views of Fewa Lake and the green hills, this is the perfect spot.
HOUSE RULES & COMMUNITY NEIGHBORHOOD
We have strict house rules attached to our listing photos—please review them carefully and respect the property's rules and regulations. Because we are located inside a traditional, quiet village community, we do not allow loud music. We kindly ask that you keep noise in check out of respect for our neighbors, especially during nighttime hours.
SURROUNDED BY NATURE (AND BUGS)
Because we are in a local village surrounded by nature, trees, and bushes, you should expect some uninvited bugs and insects as guests sometimes (especially during the rainy season). This is completely normal for the area. To help with this, we have installed bug zappers and mesh nets on all doors and windows to keep them out of your rooms.
THE OUTDOOR SPACE & GARDEN
With 2 acres to explore, you have plenty of space to relax outside:
Outdoor Sitting Area: A quiet spot tucked under the trees inside the property, perfect for morning tea or a book.
BBQ & Bonfire Area: We have a separate designated space where you can set up a barbecue or build a bonfire.
THE WALK TO THE HOUSE
Vehicles can drive right up to our designated parking area. From the parking spot, there is a scenic 200-meter walk down a path to reach the house. A <1min walk, but good to know if you are carrying heavy luggage.
WORK & POWER BACKUP
The house is great for remote workers or anyone who needs to stay connected. We have:

An inverter power backup system so you won't lose electricity or internet during local blackouts
THE HOUSE LAYOUT
• Attic Lounge: A cool top-floor space that we set up like a mini-theater. It is perfect for movie nights or just sitting back to enjoy the lake views.
• 3 Bedrooms: One room has a queen bed, and the other two rooms have twin single beds. It comfortably fits families or small groups.
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, sink, and cooking utensils. The cooking gas is included for free. If you want, we can even help buy your groceries at local market prices before you arrive.
• Laundry & Bath: There is a washing machine for your laundry, plus a bathroom and a separate toilet.
Guest access
You have the entire house, the 2-acre grounds, and the garden area all to yourself. You can see Fewa Lake and the surrounding hills clearly from almost anywhere on the property.
Other things to note
Guests will have complete access to the kitchen and all its features, including a gas stove, sink, refrigerator, and a full range of cooking and serving utensils.
While we ask that guests bring their own ingredients, we’re happy to help if needed — simply let us know ahead of time, and we can arrange to source groceries for you at a fair additional cost based on local market rates.
The stove operates on an LPG cylinder, which is provided by us and included in your stay at no extra charge.
Our property is conveniently reachable by vehicle up to the designated parking area. From there, it’s about a 200-meter walk down to the house.
We like to inform our guests of this in advance so they can plan their arrival comfortably.
