'Tahoe Belle' is a beautiful, custom 2700 sqft rental home and ski cabin that has all the comforts of home. With a spacious floor plan - 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 common areas - there is plenty of room for you to spread out and enjoy yourselves. The space

All bookings require our Rental Agreement to be completed and e-signed before booking is finalized. Family-owned and managed by owner, not a big Vacation Rental Management Service. We offer a 10% nightly fee discount for stays of 7 days or more, or 25% discount for a 28 night stay!
PLEASE NOTE: Occupancy Limit 8 ADULTS + 4 children. Our permitted occupancy limit through El Dorado County has a limit of no more than 8 adults, and during quiet hours 10pm-8am.
Total occupancy limit is MAX 12 persons including children.
Modern New Home Construction:
Was finished in 2010 and we have continued to invest in upgrades to keep it comfortable for us and our guests. We love how many memories have been made at our home over the years - both by our family and our many guests.
The Bedrooms:
Rest easy...each of our beds has a high-quality pillow top mattress, luxury linens and fluffy pillows. There are two bedrooms upstairs (the Master has a King bed and a second has a CA King), cathedral ceiling, nightstands, dresser and closet. The two downstairs bedrooms have Queen beds (total of three), nightstands, dressers and walk-in closets. There is also a Queen-size futon in the master bedroom. Also provided is an air mattress, a sleeping bag, pack-n-play for a baby or small toddler, high chair and booster. 10 can sleep in beds + 2 more in a queen-sized futon for total of 12 (children 5 and under are not counted against the capacity limit up to a total of 12 people), and there is an additional air mattress and couches as well.
Kitchen, Great Room & Den:
The gourmet kitchen is every cook's dream: granite slab counter tops, maple cabinets, 5-burner gas stove, convection oven, large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, traditional coffee maker, K-cup coffee maker, blender, mixer, food processor, spices, oils, cutlery, pots & pans, and more! The adjoining dining nook seats 8-10 people at the table, with four additional stools at the kitchen island.
The Bathrooms:
Go ahead - take a nice long bubble bath. With maple cabinetry, rainfall shower-heads and granite throughout the 2 upstairs bathrooms and granite and marble in the downstairs bathroom, you will be relaxing in luxury. The master bathroom features two sinks, a jetted tub and a walk-in double shower. The upstairs bathroom features two sinks, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The downstairs bathroom features one sink, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. And, best of all, there are two hot water heaters, so the house is comfortable for larger groups.
In the Great Room, there's a magnificent floor to ceiling stone fireplace with large comfy couches, 55' HDTV, home theater system, and huge picture windows. Take your meals, coffee or tea outside to the deck with views of the woods, mountains and meadows. BBQ all summer long on the gas grill.
Downstairs, there is a second living room den with a 42' HDTV & DVD player, couch, games and toys. The sliding glass door opens to a second balcony.
Parking, Laundry, Etc.:
Parking for 4 vehicles: our 2 car garage can easily accommodate two cars full-size SUV's and has a Level 2 Electric Vehicle Tesla and J1772 EV charger. Two more cars may park on the driveway. The indoor laundry (downstairs) has a washer, dryer, and utility sink. For your convenience, we also provide a Pack-n-play crib, high chair and a booster seat for vehicles.

WFH and remote distance learning:
Work from home (WFH) or do remote distance learning from beautiful Lake Tahoe. Relax on one of the two balconies, or just enjoy the forest views from every room.

Our family enjoyed Tahoe Belle while doing our remote work from home (WFH) jobs during the pandemic and while our own businesses have instructed all employees to work from home. During the pandemic and shutdowns, our elementary school-aged children enjoyed their remote distance learning Zoom calls from the comfort of Tahoe Belle where they can take their recess out in the wild, ride their bikes around the neighborhood and enjoy local parks and outdoor activities while social distancing.
Other amenities:
-10 can sleep in beds + 2 more in a queen-sized futon for total of 12 (children 5 and under are not counted against the capacity limit up to 12 total), and there is an additional air mattress and couches as well. NO more than 10 adults are allowed by our Rental Permit.
-Private residence, end-of-street with no neighbors on 2 sides
-Magnificent floor to ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace with ample firewood provided
-Best of all, there are two hot water heaters, so the house is comfortable for larger groups
-Internet and WiFi included to stream media, check email, news and sports

-3 TVs: one 55" Smart HDTV in Great Room with DVD player, various DVD in collection and surround sound entertaining system, 2nd HDTV in downstairs Den and 3rd in the Master Bedroom
-Parking for 4 vehicles: 2 car garage with Level 2 Electric vehicle (EV) Tesla charger, and can easily accommodate two cars full-size SUV's, and two more cars may park on the driveway
-Tahoe Belle’s garage comes equipped with a Level 2 J1772 charger rated at 240V and 40 Amps. For Tesla vehicles, please use the SAE J1772 adapter which came with your vehicle
-The indoor laundry (downstairs) has a washer, dryer, and utility sink
-For your convenience, we also provide a Pack-n-Play, high chair and a booster seat for vehicles
-Landline Telephone available
-Central forced-air furnace heater with temperature control between lower and upper floors. There is NO AC but there are ceiling fans
-In addition to 2 King and 3 Queen beds, there is also a queen-sized Futon and an air mattress is available
We maintain an active El Dorado County Vacation Home Rental permit and comply with all local regulations. Our VHR permit # is 073825, TOT # 067247 and can be verified at the El Dorado County website

We are located at the end of a small street of only 3 houses, and we have empty lots on 2 sides. It is just 5-10 minutes to South Lake Tahoe restaurants, recreation areas, shopping, and amenities.
