This house was built in a Swahili style architecture with local natural materials to fit in the environment on a superb site overlooking a tropical lush garden. The space
It is a home away from home. Located at the Kilifi Creek at only a few meters to one of the several sandy cove beaches, surrounded by mangrove forest the home of all kind of lives (e.g. birds, fishes, crabs, lobsters, prawns, oysters, etc.)

This house was built with natural materials to respect and fit in the environment, with no disturbance to the wildlife. This is the right place for nature lovers and bird watching. The rain water collection and the solar power system produces enough energy to cover its own demand, and is used as a backup in case of water shortage and power cut.

By choosing this type of eco-friendly accommodation, you sometimes give up the comfort of modern lifestyle, by using the sea breeze and fans instead of air conditioning. Moreover by choosing an accommodation that has combined local materials, that preserves the surrounding nature wildlife and uses solar energy, which are all criteria that allow the environment to be preserved in the long term. The house features 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 fully-equipped kitchen, 1 large fully-furnished veranda 70sqm parted in living and sitting areas and a private swimming pool with sunbeds. Each rooms with ceiling fans, all beds and windows with mosquito nets. 1 kayak for 2 available, darts game with dartboard, books, chess game and card games.

Other things to note
Air conditioning is available on request and payable for 500 Ksh per room and per night. Unlimited internet WIFI and DSTV access channel program are included in the price, higher packages are available at extra cost. Note that due to the coronavirus, we take extra precautions and hygiene measures between stays by sanitizing frequently affected surfaces. The house is well secured - G4S Security guards and night watchmen.

Kilifi Creek is an inlet of the Indian Ocean that opens into a large lake at this point the Rare River tributary stream of the Galana River that crosses the savannah plains of Tsavo, flows into the Indian Ocean. Several small sandy beaches surrounded by a forest of mangroves are close to the property, including those of the Distant Relatives 5 minutes walk, as well as the beach directly in front of the property about 50 meters away. This location at this part of the creek was the scenery of several movies. The place where the french film "The African" was shot by director Philippe de Broca in 1983, with Catherine Deneuve and Philippe Noiret.
