SUNS Idyllic Cottage is for the wanderers whose souls ache for peace and solitude. It is for those who have lost themselves in the inflexibilities of daily life. Most importantly it is for those who wish to reclaim, reframe and reinvent themselves, amongst the aromatic, cool and pine scented breeze that forever surrounds the cottage. SUNS Cottage is for those who covet the reinvention and rejuvenation of their body, mind and soul.
The cottage is sanitized well before you enter. It is a studio cottage in which the ground floor area is exclusively for our guests with a bedroom (1 bed), a private bathroom, a private kitchen, a dining table and an outside sitting area with mountain and valley view.
In-house amenities include:
- 32" Smart TV (YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime and other OTTs)
- Work Chair and table
- Cupboard
- Geyser, refrigerator, gas stove with cylinder, electric kettle, microwave and all cooking utensils along with crockery and cutlery
- All water taps have provision for hot water
- Ambient lighting

Guest access
On the inside (Private Guest Space)
A cheerful master bedroom, a curate collection of books and smart HD Android television, in case the nights get a little too peaceful for you. The bedroom room includes an ensuite washroom and a kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, utensils, cookware, crockery and cutlery. Please note that there is no cook at the Homestay.
The homestay is easily accessible and is located at ground level.
On the outside
The entry to the homestay is surrounded by pine trees and the bedroom opens onto rolling mountain and valley views. The oxygen rich, pine scented fresh air will repair, heal and refresh you. The perfect setting for some morning calisthenics or yoga. Explore the area around on foot; it is peaceful, safe and there’s adventure to be had, around every corner. The spots around the countryside, is an ideal setting for some reading, although the surroundings can be satisfyingly distracting. Enjoy the chilled (figuratively and literally) evenings with your favourite tipple. Don’t be too surprised if the countryside lulls you to sleep.

Easily approachable by road and nearest airport being Chandigarh International Airport at 1 hr 15min. Nearest Railway is at Kalka, which is at an hour’s drive from the location. Transportation can be arranged on payment. Sight seeing can be undertaken to Kasauli, Shimla, Chail and Solan among others. For those driving from Delhi, take NH 1 to Ambala, and cross Sonepat and Karnal. From Ambala, take NH 22 for Kasauli. The route will pass Zirakpur, Panchkula, Pinjore, Parwanoo, and Dharampur. From Dharampur, a narrow hill road will take you to Kasauli.

To ensure availability of taxis, we require that taxi bookings be made a few days in advance of your stay. Additionally, please note that charges for these services are separate.
Smokers may smoke in the balcony using ashtray only. .....Smoking inside the home is strictly not acceptable.
Cottage is 3.5 kms from mall road.
The local vendors accept payment via cash, upi(online payment) or bank transfer.
Meals are as per your own flexibility and skill, as the homestay kitchen is for your private use.
Barbecue facilities such as grills, charcoal, iron skewers, etc. are available for use, but there is a fee to use them. You can grill your food and enjoy it at the location.
We've partnered with a few local cafes, so you have the option to order breakfast, lunch, or dinner right to the cottage.
