Welcome to Sunrise Cottage on the lovely Northumberland Strait. This charming 2-bed, 1-bath oceanfront cottage is the perfect getaway for your family, including your dogs! Wake up to stunning sunrises and ocean views, with fresh sea air that’s good for the soul.
There is much to explore, including beaches, golf courses, shops, & restaurants.
Enjoy your coffee on the wraparound deck overlooking the ocean, or relax in the sunroom surrounded by wildflowers.
Be aware that mosquitoes may be present.

The space
Sunrise Cottage is a cozy, rustic oceanfront retreat designed for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the Northumberland Strait. The cottage features two bedrooms, a small bathroom with a stand-up shower, and an open-concept kitchen and living area that makes it easy to spend time together.
Step outside and enjoy direct access to the shoreline from the property, or take in the views from the large wraparound deck complete with outdoor seating and a dining area.
Our cottage is a well-loved family getaway, not a luxury property. You’ll find comfort, character, and everything you need for a memorable stay, but not high-end finishes. Children and pets are welcome when accompanied by responsible adults, making Sunrise Cottage a place where families can truly feel at home.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage and surrounding property during their stay, including the oceanfront grounds and outdoor living spaces. For safety and storage purposes, the outbuildings on the property are not accessible to guests.

Other things to note
An Amazon Alexa device is available for guest use to access news, weather, music, entertainment, and general information. The property does not have any Alexa-enabled smart home devices connected to the system, and Alexa is not used to control any features within the cottage.

Neighborhood highlights

Johnston Point Road is where country meets ocean. Farmers fields, cattle mooing, ocean surf are all daily views as you explore. On your way to Sunrise Cottage stop for groceries in Shediac at the Sobey's just off the highway or even closer to Johnston Point Road is a FreshMart (Loblaws) in Cap Pele. Local seafood restuarants and shops are available along the Coastal Route 133 between Shediac and Cap Pele.

One final note is that due to the beautiful and diverse eco systems of the salt marshes, thick mosquitos are often present on Johnston Point Road, we do provide bug spray but please feel free to bring your own favourites.
