Our cabin has some of the best Longs Peak and Mummy Range views in Estes. Situated across from the HWY 36 Rocky Mountain National Park entrance; you can't get much closer to the park. SummeRest has been in our family since the 1940s and will shock you with its space without losing the cozy feeling of a mountain retreat. Includes 2 large open family rooms, a moss-rock fireplace, a well-stocked kitchen, a clawfoot tub, vaulted pine ceiling, skylights, 2 TV areas, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and a deck.

My brother, Phil, and I own SummeRest. It has been in our family since 1950 and is a rustic retreat filled with our memories. My brother lives in Monument, CO with his wife and children and loves jeeping, exploring the outdoors...all while listening to cool jazz or 80's rock (hence, he's the one who installed in-ceiling speakers in the cabin family room). I, LeAnn, am a Clinical Social Worker/Therapist and live near Morrison, CO with my husband and two small pups. Both of us would agree....Estes is our favorite place to be....and even our Grandma Lela who was the original owner said, "This is the closest I'll get to Heaven until He takes me home!"
