SUKHA Container Cabin, Sidemen’s first micro container cabin rooted in intentional living, permaculture, and intrinsic happiness.

Crafted from a preloved container, SUKHA offers a thoughtfully designed space with a king-size bed, indoor bathroom, all-set kitchen, skylight windows, edible garden, balcony, firepit, and outdoor bathtub, evoking peace, comfort, and tranquility.

SUKHA is best suited for guests comfortable with RURAL ACCESS, INDEPENDENT LIVING, AND A NATURE-IMMERSED ENVIRONMENT.

The space
Nestled on 600 m² of private land atop a steep hill, SUKHA is a micro container cabin (7.5 x 2.5 m) surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views. Its quiet rural setting means there isn’t much within easy walking distance, making it a peaceful base for exploring Sidemen by car or motorbike.

Inside:
• King-size bed for deep rest.
• Comfortable indoor bathroom.
• Fully equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals.
• Skylight windows for natural light and stargazing.

Outside:
• Private balcony overlooking the garden and mountains.
• Firepit for slow evenings under the stars.
• Outdoor bathtub surrounded by nature.
• Permaculture garden with fresh herbs and vegetables, plus pathways to explore.

GOOD TO KNOW:
1. Because SUKHA is located in a rural village, water pressure and electricity may occasionally fluctuate.

2. Please avoid using several high-powered appliances at once, particularly the 3-in-1 oven/microwave/air fryer, kettle, and induction stove, especially when the AC or water heater is running. This helps prevent the electricity from tripping.

3. Being surrounded by nature also means sharing the area with ants, butterflies, bees, fireflies, spiders, geckos, and lizards. Neighbors’ dogs and chickens may occasionally pass by. Very rarely, monkeys may appear in the area, though they generally keep their distance.

If this kind of rural, nature-immersed experience doesn’t feel comfortable or enjoyable for you, SUKHA may not be the right fit for your stay. We’d much rather you choose a place that feels right for you.

4. We also provide art supplies and games, mindfulness tools including a yoga mat and guest diary, and a selection of inspirational books, small touches designed to bring comfort, creativity, and joy.

5. SUKHA is pet-friendly 🐾 because they deserve a getaway too. :)

6. For longer stays, a weekly refresh includes light cleaning, fresh bed linen, drinking-water refill, and waste collection.

Complimentary welcome treats:
We’ve prepared a few simple treats for you to enjoy as you settle in, including simply bread or pastries, something sweet, seasonal fruits, eggs, and coconut water.

These are one-time welcome treats.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire 600 m² private SUKHA property. The stay is fully self check-in, with no receptionist on-site.

SUKHA is located in a quiet rural area, so there isn’t much within easy walking distance. The road access may also feel challenging if you’re not used to countryside or mountain roads. Arriving with your own motorbike or car is recommended, and daytime arrival is best for your first visit.

After booking, we’ll share detailed directions, including both a driver’s route and a more secluded route.

GOOD TO KNOW:
• A motorbike is the easiest way to get around.
• Parking for 1 car is available outside, in front of the wooden SUKHA sign.
• There is no entrance gate, just a wooden “SUKHA Container Cabin” sign marking the property.
• Gojek/Grab food delivery can reach the area, though options are limited.
• Gojek/Grab ride-hailing pickups are generally not available directly from the property.
