Explore Cowan Lake WEC and Amish stores and bakeries all within minutes from this historic Schoolhouse and picturesque setting. This 1882 Rural Schoolhouse is sitting on an acre of the original land. It includes a newly built 29 x 24 Hemlock sided closed pavilion with outside entities. Includes a park like charcoal grill, a gas grill , horseshoes court and corn hole boards.
Great for outside gatherings and animal friendly inside and outside, including horse trailer parking and moving vans .

The space
It's like walking into a piece of history that has been restored to its natural glory. Set out in the country for privacy. Nature is all around you but still close enough to attractions and family fun places in the area. I think one of our guests said it best" It's like a home away from home".

The entire schoolhouse and outside pavilion and grounds are available to our guests

Other things to note
Many guests are asking where the WEC is located ?Also distance to the Roberts Arena . They are both within 15 minutes and easily accessed. The WEC is just NW on the unit and about 6-8 miles depending on route taken.The Robert’s Center is North about 12 miles off 68 North. We also have a farmer’s market with many organic items including Amish pies and vegetables every Saturday during the summer.
