Welcome to Studio Villa Delphia, a brand new and contemporary stay in a beautiful wooded area in Onnen (Groningen). The studio is part of a multi-generational home that has been realized in a former care institution. You have your own place where you can stay, with nice coffee shops and restaurants within cycling distance. Perfect place if you want to enjoy the peace & nature, want to hike/bike or to work from. You are welcome to enjoy.

The space
You have a private entrance with space to store bicycles, for example. We may also have a women's bike and men's bike to borrow.

In summer, you can sit outside on a small terrace at the entrance of the residence (table and two chairs).

In the base, the two beds are placed against each other. If desired, we can separate them so that there are two separate single beds in the room.

Of course, there is also a television (with Netflix if you have an account) and WiFi.

The studio has lovely beds, a neat kitchenette with fridge, with small freezer compartment and stove (2 burners, induction), nice neat bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, a cozy sitting and dining area. There is no oven or microwave.

In the kitchen, we have a Nespresso coffee machine. We have a supply of cups in the studio.

Sweet regular coffee? There is also a small normal coffee machine. No filter is required for this. So take your coffee with you and you're done. There is also instant coffee available.

On request, a camping bed with mattress (bring your own bedding), a high chair, baby bath and a storage box with children's toys can be used.

We ask for an ID upon arrival. In addition, it is good to know that there are cameras around the entire building.

Parking is possible on our own grounds in one of the parking spaces behind the mailboxes, at the practice Leef het voor. It is also possible to park the car on the road. Plenty of space.

Neighborhood highlights

Onnen is a tiny village just below Haren. A jumbo, hairdresser, snack bar, greengrocer, and florist are 2 kilometers away. Just a little further you arrive in the center of Haren with nice coffee shops, unique shops and various restaurants. Zuidlaren is also recommended.

In Onnen itself, there are few amenities, on a sports field and various playgrounds. The community center is open on weekends and you can go there for tasty meals, a drink or an ice cream.

In the summer months you can also visit the Ice Farm for delicious ice cream, coffee and cakes. This is about a 15 minute walk away. Also here, is a playground.

Furthermore, we have a Farm shop down the road with *fresh) farmers (regional)products, a greengrocer, eel smoking and the Neighborhood for organic meat. All within cycling distance (few km).

Nearby we have a small swimming pool called Scharlakenhof (2 km). Wanna do you want some more amenities? Then you could go to the Aqualaren pool in Zuidlaren (9 km) with slide, etc.

Furthermore, the Center of Haren is about 30 minutes' walking distance from the studio. A bustling center with shops, supermarkets and nice places for a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner.


Would you like to enjoy the peace and nature? Then you've come to the right place. Within a few minutes you are in the beautiful Onnense polder or you walk in the Appelbergenbos. Beautiful places for hiking and biking.
