A place guests keep coming back to
Guests return year after year, with several calling it their go-to base for biking and outdoor trips
Your group will enjoy this spacious and cozy space located in historic downtown Negaunee!
It is located a stone’s throw from the Iron Ore Heritage Trail and RAMBA’s extensive trail system for mountain biking, snow biking, hiking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, etc. Steps away are Campfire Coffee, Midtown Bake Shop and Cafe, Tino’s Pizza, and numerous antique shops and bars.
Marquette is just 15 minutes away for additional dining options, breweries, nature trails and Lake Superior.
The space
The apartment is located above a bar/restaurant in a century-old brownstone building. There is not an elevator, so guest should be prepared to walk upstairs. There are 2 other apartments in the building.
The building is under new ownership and we have invested in the space below the apartment to install a commercial kitchen and to renovate the bar area. There is an authentic Italian restaurant with a full bar and a small marketplace on the ground floor.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire unit and free parking in the back lot. Street parking is also plentiful. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING on the street during the winter months (November 1 to April 1.)
Other things to note
Don’t miss the Midtown Bake Shop for breakfast, lunch and treats, fresh roasted coffee at Campfire Coffee, Tino’s Pizza, the UP Brewing Company for craft beer, Jackson’s Pit for burgers, Smarty’s Saloon and Barr’s Bar. All are located within 3 blocks of the bnb. We also have miles of recreational trails in our backyard for walking, biking, and snowmobiling. The local YMCA is only one block away. There is a bike shop, “ Love and Bicycles” one block away as well.

My work: Artigiano (Website hidden by Airbnb)
Lives in Portland, Oregon
I own and operate a tiny authentic italian outdoor osteria called Artigiano in Portland, Oregon in the summertime.
In the off season I like to visit my family in Michigan's upper peninsula and travel the world. Most of my time is spent cooking, eating & drinking. I like to be outdoors enjoying natural beauty. Xx skiing, Hiking, biking, swimming,...you name it! I also enjoy listening to and making music.
