About 50 meters from the accommodation is the Old Pub, where you will find excellent cuisine, WIFI and TV.

The possibility of walking to the Straten canyon with the unprecedented scenery of the rock massifs, or to the Staren Saw, where you can hear “deafening silence” even small children either on foot or in a carriage house.

The Stratenská sawmill is the mouth of the Palcmanská Maša reservoir, which was created by flooding the villages of Imrichovce and Štefanovce and has been in operation since 1953. On its shore is the village of Dedinky, where the boarding station of a unique chairlift is now under renovation and is expected to be reopened in April-May 2021.

Walking can be reached through Tiesňava around the inaccessible Straten Cave and accessible Green Cave along the blue mark to the world-famous Dobšin Ice Cave. You can go back on foot, by bus, or motor train.

Around the fishing resort Hansjakubová takes you through Kopanec to Podsk, a major tourist resort in the western part of the Slovak Paradise.

In winter months, quality trekking trails and beautiful hills for downhill skiing can be found nearby.
