Stonecross is a bright and spacious cottage for up to 4 guests, set in peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, Wales. With 2 comfortable bedrooms and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows framing rural views, it's ideal for couples, friends and families with older children. Enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside while being just a short walk or drive to local beaches, restaurants, pubs and shops. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.
The space
Newly renovated for summer 2026, Stonecross provides bright and modern accommodation for up to 4 guests including a large living/dining room with picture windows floor to ceiling for maximising the view; a large smart TV; WI-FI; and wood burner for cosy nights in. A well stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven. Also in the ground floor is a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room: and upstairs a beautiful first floor king size bedroom with views over rolling fields opposite a master bath/shower room. The property offers private parking for 2 cars. Additionally, bed linen and towels are provided. A large garden wraps around the property with views over rolling fields and some nosy ponies!
Stonecross is conveniently located near the village of Saundersfoot and the closest beach of Coppet Hall (15 min walk), where guests can explore shops, restaurants, and a beautiful sandy beach just a mile away. An easy walk through pleasant countryside to reach it or a 5 min drive. The property is ideal for those seeking a peaceful rural retreat with easy access to the coast.
Dogs allowed (charged per dog per stay)
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property (this refers to the whole self contained annexe). There are no shared spaces with others.
Other things to note
Dogs:
Dogs are welcomed but if you are looking for a home with a fully secure garden then we suggest we may not be the best fit as there is no gate on the driveway. We do allow dogs on the sofa as long as the throws provided are used at all times. Sorry but we do not allow dogs in or on the beds here unless you bring your own bedding.
Children:
Please note there is no gate on the driveway to the property and despite it being situated on a quiet back lane we ask that children are supervised at all times. Similarly there is a pond at the property which is approximately 1 metre deep. There is also a log burner and the stairs do not have a safety gate. We suggest that we may not be the best fit for younger children on this basis.
Please note that the property is a self contained annexe attached to a bungalow. The adjoining property is not rented out to other guests so you have sole use of the grounds. Occasionally the owner uses the adjoining property.
