Enjoy the lovely off grid forest setting of this romantic spot in nature. Comfortable king bed made up bed awaits you and your loved one. Or go solo and have the bed to yourself! There’s also a couch someone can sleep on, or two small kiddos (not a sofa bed). Please bring your own camp gear. There is a Blackstone griddle, dbl hammock, six chairs, picnic table, inside table, propane fire pit, and a camp toilet inside . You have access to the common area shower, porta johns and sink close by.

The space
The Safari tent is 14 x 16‘ has a king size bed and a couch. The tent is on a deck that’s 2 feet off the ground. It’s a large campsite that can also accommodate your own personal tent as well if you’d like to expand your party. It’s only $20 per person after two people on that site. There is a water faucet at the site. The common area is pretty close that accommodates the Porta John’s and shower along with a sink that can be used for brushing your teeth and washing dishes. There’s a lot of trees that help with shade and there’s also clear areas if you’re wanting to stargaze. This tent has shade on the front deck in the afternoon, which is nice in the summer.
WiFi is available at the entry by the Chamber of Commerce information board. There is a picnic table to enjoy your time there.

Guest access
Guest have access to the common area which has porta Johns and a cold shower. In the summer, there’s also misters in the common area to help cool down. A person can lay in the hammock there and feel the mist.

Neighborhood highlights

There are 10 sites spread out on 20 beautiful wooded acres. Four large wall tents, all with king beds. Two A-frames with an expandable wall. Stargazer A-frame is larger and has more amenities. Two small tiny homes and two RVs that are hooked up with water and electricity with air-conditioning. If a site does not have a shower there is one available in the common area along with the sink for brushing teeth, washing dishes, etc..

Great location for friends and family gatherings!

We are 11 miles from Goldendale and two of those miles are down a gravel road. Please do not exceed the 20 mile an hour speed limit to help maintain our gravel. No traffic here at all. Just a cattle drive once in a great while. Look out for deer and wild turkeys.

My husband Darreld and I love the outdoors! Darreld lived in Alaska for 13 years and I grew up in Kalispell Montana. We’ve only been married a few years and I’ve loved every minute! We purchased 20 raw acres in 2021. Darreld has built all the sites on his own and once we had a well he trenched water to the main sites. We love sharing our property with like minded people with the love of nature. Hope to see you out here soon!
