The excitement of camping with all the comforts! Outdoor grilling area with picnic table, queen size bed in the loft, 2 recliners & TV/dvd, AC/heat, sink, microwave & mini fridge. Kitchen service for 2, basic cooking essentials, towels & bedding. Well kept private port-a-john outside cabin & outdoor shower is close by at north end of store (no toilet inside cabin) Bring bikes to ride the “Great River Trail”. Camp store & kayak/canoe rentals (through Oct 1st) on site! No pets No smoking please.
The space
The tiny house cabin is located at Spring Lake Campground and therefore opens the experience up to all the campground has to offer! Canoe & kayak rentals (through Oct 1st), fishing, the Great River bike trail, pizza delivery, camp fires, sunsets and star gazing! There is a camp store on site with some games, basic necessities, snacks, s'mores kits and drinks. Many exciting activities close by, such as restaurants and coffee shops in downtown Savanna, Mississippi Palisades State Park, "Danbo Troll Hunting" across the river in Clinton, IA, boutique shopping in Fulton, IL and Galena IL and of course the Mississippi River itself! Nature abounds and we have many recommendations for more.
The area of the cabin itself is very private. It is at the end of the road, so you can park past the cabin and have that whole end space to yourself. It is surrounded by trees on two sides, the lake on the front side and the cabin itself blocks the view of the 4th side so you feel very private in the space. Feel free to explore the camp ground as well.
Guest access
Guest have access to the shared outdoor activities such as fishing the lake, canoe, kayak and paddle boards rentals,(through Oct 1st) the bike trail, camp store and outdoor shower (north end of the camp store). There are several well kept port-a- John’s on site. Camp fire pits and s’mores! Sunsets and stars!
Other things to note
To clarify: the “half bath” option means there is a well kept private use port-a-John right outside the cabin in your area. It is for tiny cabin guest only. There is a sink in the cabin with hand soap provided. There is an outdoor shower on the property, located at the camp store . It is an easy walk and is open to the sky but has 12 foot privacy walls, locks and has hot water. There is not a toilet in the cabin itself.

Neighborhood highlights
We are just south of Savanna, IL with so much to do so close by! Shopping, live music, hiking at Palisades park, etc! And just relaxing at the campground or going for a bike ride, renting a kayak for the lake (boat rentals available through Oct 1st) then sitting by a campfire or watching the stars is a perfect day too.
