Enjoy "The Snug," our cozy private basement guest suite at historic Stone Porch Cottage, a 104-year-old home in Colorado Springs. This Top 1% Airbnb features a large comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom, sitting area with big TV, and a kitchenette (mini fridge, microwave, coffee/tea station, and dining for two).
Enter through your private garden entrance (code provided) and descend seven stairs to your peaceful retreat. The seasonal garden and patio are perfect for relaxing—most enjoyable mid-May to mid-October (note: snow is possible even in May!).
A few notes: The 104-year-old home has character—steep stairs at entry, a couple low ceiling spots (taller guests may need to duck slightly), and a ~6' shower with a bench and adjustable head for comfort. Self check-in available.

Access your private basement suite through the rear garden entrance using the unique code provided in your Airbnb check-in instructions. There are seven steep stairs leading down to The Snug (photos available in the check-in guide).
The garden and patio are available for your enjoyment year-round. The space is especially pleasant from mid-May through mid-October, though keep in mind that Colorado weather can bring snow as late as Mother’s Day!

- Washer and dryer are not available.
- Shower ceiling is approximately 6 ft tall with an adjustable shower head and bench provided for comfort.
- Entry requires descending seven steep stairs (photos in check-in guide).
- A couple of low ceiling areas—taller guests may need to duck slightly.
- Play structure is not available.
- No pets allowed (we are animal lovers but keep the space pet-free).
- We love children but are not equipped for them. We may consider a non-walking infant on a case-by-case basis—please message us if interested.
