Experience the Nest tiny home at The Sanctuary near Camp Pendleton. Oversized picture windows and soaring cedar ceiling make this cozy space feel expansive. The lounge converts to a comfortable bedroom with a queen murphy bed. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and a sleek tiled bath with soaking tub. Take in sweeping views of Fallbrook and surrounding mountains off the private deck perched above everyone, unwind in the shared pool or hot tub. Walk the orchard, gardens and pick fruit at your leisure.

The space
The Nest Tiny Home is a hilltop private, stand-alone retreat thoughtfully designed to feel very private, cozy and expansive.
Located on the borders of Oceanside, Fallbrook and Camp Pendleton makes it the perfect place for basing your vacations exploring, celebrating wedding and life events and visiting friends or family stationed at the incredibly close by Camp Pendleton Marine base.

This one-bedroom tiny home features a comfortable living and dining area, large windows, and doors that bring the outdoors in with you. The space closes off completely with privacy blackout blinds or open the place up to sweeping views toward the San Gabriel, San Jacinto, and Palomar mountain ranges allowing the proper 180 degree view in your living room. Relax on your beautiful, private hardwood deck with Adirondack chairs—the perfect place for a quiet coffee at sunrise or a drink at sunset.

Just a short walk through wild botanical gardens, you’ll have access to the shared pool area with a saltwater pool and spa, surrounded by a travertine pool deck with lounge chairs and a lynx barbecue. Above the pool sits the 1,200-square-foot observation deck, furnished with a teak table and chairs, another great spot for dining and taking in the unmatched views.

As you explore the property, you’ll find gardens and winding orchard pathways. We have over 50 fruit trees of various types, with something always in season. We do our best to leave a taste of the property in your accommodation upon arrival, and you’re welcome to pick more to enjoy during your stay. If you’re curious about what’s ripe or how to pick anything, just ask, we’re happy to help.

The tap water here is perfectly fine for drinking, but as an added touch, we also provide Carlsbad’s naturally alkaline spring water (pH 9.1) for your enjoyment. It’s exceptionally clean, crisp, and refreshing—our favorite, and one we love sharing with guests.

Guest access
Guests will have a dedicated parking space conveniently located next to the Tiny Home. Additional parking for more than one vehicle is available just a few steps away. Upon arrival, guests will find the keys inside the unlocked Tiny Home, and we ask that keys be left in the same place upon departure.
