Smoky Gray Hideaway is a semi-secluded log cabin, fully renovated in 2023, perfect for couples, families or a small group of friends looking for a memorable getaway. Relax on one of the two wrap-around decks or soak in the hot tub while taking in the cozy mountain views in the fall and winter or the serene, wooded scenery in spring and summer. You might even spot a bear! This charming cabin is the perfect blend of modern amenities and natural beauty.

Guest access
The week of your arrival you will receive a message with check-in details, including cabin address, directions and a personalized code for the door. No need to meet for keys!
Other things to note
WE PROVIDE:
towels, linens, a STARTER SUPPLY of paper products (paper towels and toilet paper), basic cleaning supplies (dishwasher pod, dish soap, kitchen sponge, kitchen trash bag, bathroom trash bag), toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), a few k-cups, creamer and sugar. There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaners only come between guests.
YOU PROVIDE:
food, coffee and coffee filters OR k-cups, laundry detergent, extra paper products beyond what is supplied, and any other items you feel you need to round out your stay.
PLEASE NOTE: After turning off the highway, the quarter mile of one lane road leading to the cabin is steep and has potholes from recent construction. AWD/4WD is STRONGLY recommended in icy or snowy conditions. You are responsible for ensuring your car is prepared for mountain roads, particularly during inclement weather. There are no refunds for weather.
The parking area is flat and accommodates two vehicles. You must climb three steps to get to the front door of the property.

This is our family cabin and we ask that you treat it kindly by adhering to the following rules:
- All guests must be 21+ (children with parents/guardians are welcome too)
- 2 vehicles and 8 persons max (no parking at neighboring cabins or blocking road access)
- No pets
- No smoking or vaping on premises
- No fires (including candles), other than the two gas fireplaces in the cabin
- No parties or big events
For violating any of the above rules (pets, smoking, fires, parties) you will be charged $350 as well as any additional cleaning/repair fees and asked to vacate the property immediately.
- No early check-in or late check-out unless previously arranged. We like to give our cleaners enough time to make sure the cabin is in top condition for the next guests. The fee for failing to vacate on time is $50.00 for every half-hour.
- Hot tub is for guests 18 and over only (children with adult supervision is okay - no toddlers or babies). Use of the hot tub is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- No refunds for anything beyond our control (weather/natural disasters/etc.)
