Ideal for hikers, cyclists, hunters and anyone craving quiet, dark skies and time outdoors. Close to popular trails including the Motu

Access via 4WD only across the Pakihi River ford, or a 700m walk over the swing bridge from the Pakihi Hut carpark.
A deep swimming hole sits just downstream of the ford.
