A wee cosy, shoreside cabin with sitting room, well equipped kitchen & separate bedroom ensuite.

The sitting room offers shore and mountain views and is a great space to sit and watch the wildlife.

Set next to our home, our guest have their own shore access & outdoor seating, bbq & fire pit.

Free wifi, NETFLIX & Disney+s with usb charging points. All Bedding, towels and a modest welcome pack included.

The space
The award winning Skye Coorie is an insulated log cabin set in the family garden, next to the tidal shoreline. The cabin is a cosy, quiet, calm space, to unwind or rest after a day exploring the Island. It's an excellent spot to watch wildlife, with the tidal mudflats hosting all manner of wildlife, we have regularly seen seals, otters and the occasional sea eagle, along with common wading/sea and garden birds. The peninsula opposite is famous for its fossils and geology.
With the shore access, guests are encouraged to bring their own paddle boards and canoes etc we have external power points for guests to use too - water activities are undertaken at guest's own risk.

Guest access
The cabin sits at the bottom of our garden, close to the shore, guests are welcome to park in our driveway or use a spot at the top of our drive. The drive is a steep slope and there are gravel steps for the last few meters. While the cabin itself is on one level, the driveway and steps may prove an issue to guests with mobility issues. Guests cannot park directly outside the cabin. So please be aware of this before you book.

Other things to note
We do have a very friendly dog and two extremely nosy cats and of course four comical chickens. Whilst they are not permitted inside Skye Coorie, and we try to keep them out of guest areas, they freely roam our garden space. The grazing sheep also occasionally visit the garden too. If animals are not your thing, Skye Coorie may not be the best place to visit.
