In Winter
Winter mornings here start with mountain air and end with fire-lit skies. Grab your gear from the dedicated ski closet, and stroll a few minutes to the shuttle — just a 5-minute ride to the slopes.
Spend the day carving through Big Sky’s legendary powder, then head back for a long soak in your private bathtub or curl up on the futon with a cup of cocoa as the sun dips behind Andesite Mountain.
The Mountain Village is close enough to walk for dining, groceries, or après-ski drinks. When the resort winds down for the night, Big Sky Town Center (10–15 minutes away) keeps the fun going with live music, craft cocktails, and hearty Montana fare.
Here, your biggest decision is whether to go for one more run — or one more drink.

In Summer
Trade your skis for hiking boots, bikes, or a paddle board — you’re in the center of Big Sky’s mountain playground. Take the scenic lift at Big Sky Resort for sweeping alpine views, or spend a relaxing day at Lake Levinski (less than 5 minutes by car or a 15-minute walk). For adrenaline seekers, world-class mountain biking trails surround you, plus archery, rock climbing, ziplining, and more.
No matter the season, Ski Bunny offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and access to Montana’s great outdoors.

Yellowstone National Park
Staying in Big Sky means you’re only about an hour from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. Explore a landscape of erupting geysers, vibrant hot springs, and pristine rivers, all surrounded by abundant wildlife like bison, elk, and bears (from a safe distance). Don’t miss the legendary Old Faithful, scenic drives, and endless hiking trails. Even if you only have a day, Yellowstone offers an unforgettable glimpse into nature at its wildest.

Other things to note
FAQs:
* How far are you from West Yellowstone Park Entrance? We are 57 miles from the park entrance.
* How far are you from Big Sky Resort/Madison Base Ski Area? We are 0.7 miles/10 minute walk to the resort. During ski season, there are open air shuttles outside of the complex that pick up skiiers every 5-10 minutes.
* How far are you from Bozeman Yellowstone Airport? We are 52 miles from BZN airport.
* What shuttle options are there from Bozeman to Big Sky? While Big Sky does have public transportation (Skyline Bus), renting a car will make your experience more seamless. If renting a car is not an option, we always recommend Karst Stages as the most cost efficient option to go from BZN to Big Sky. Uber is not reliable in Big Sky.
*Is there public transportation to the downtown area of Big Sky? Yes, the Skyline Bus schedule picks up outside of the Hill Condominium complex. Reference their website to get the most up-to-date season schedule.
*How many parking spots are there? We are only able to accommodate one vehicle. Parking is limited and parking passes must be displayed at all times.

Neighborhood highlights

What is really great about this neighborhood is the immersion you will experience. Unlike a lot of the neighborhoods of Big Sky which don't have much for local life and are primarily second-homes. The hill condos house many locals who actually work and live here. You will brush shoulders with them and don't be afraid to say hello or ask what it is like to live in this beautiful little mountain town in the shadows of Lone Peak!
