These spaces have character! This hip old loft has seen the light of day for over 125 years. When it was new, Southtown was the crown jewel of Springfield and these apartments housed the movers and shakers. Today it is enjoying a rebirth thanks to 37 years of revitalization projects, culminating in comfort and convenience for todays adventurer!

The space
There are 3 spaces for you to choose from under this same roof. The one you are looking at, "Expand", has 2 very comfy beds, a large kitchen, and a brand new bathroom. "Express", is a one bedroom, and "Project Southtown, a work in Progress" has 6 beds, a Hot Tub and a Pool Table, plus 42K video games! All three spaces have access to the Skatepark, Batting Cage, and Golf Simulator on the first floor! The high ceilings create an atmosphere that let you know you are a part of this history!

Expand is unique in that it overlooks our parking and gardens out back, and it has terrific air flow through the space in fair weather. The bathroom is newly remodeled, and the kitchen is big with a refrigerator, microwave and good toaster oven. The King bedroom has new carpet, and the rest is pet friendly laminate flooring. It's ready and waiting for you and your four legged friends!

This is an inner-city location in a sturdy old building with 25 stairs. Since we allow pets we clean twice as hard, but please don't book if you are allergic. In general we are as clean as a bean, just check the reviews, but we are not a brand new secluded get-a-way!

Guest access
All spaces are completely private, with only a shared exit. Guests are welcome to use our gardens, dog walks and BBQ grills. There is also a firepit, picnic table and a black razzberry patch out back!

These 3 adjacent private spaces occupy the second floor, and can be accessed w/o going outside. When these were built, store owners lived above their business for many practical reasons.

The Skatepark is under Work in Progress.
The Golf Simulator is under Express.
The Batting Cage is under Expand.

I took an abandon part of town and turned it into a paradise for those who seek the spectacular! This urban street corner is home to the WORLDS oldest continuously operating skatepark! Now we have added a batting cage and a golf simulator where you can play up to 30,000 different courses! Top it all off with over 40K old school video games, the pool table and the HOT TUB and you have the friendliest Airbnb in town! 3 private spaces available!
