Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
Some info has been automatically translated.
The Hierholzer Weiher is a habitat for dragonflies, aquatic insects, a spawning ground for numerous frogs and a summer meeting place for locals and their guests.
The chalet/wooden house with a large roof overhang, winter garden and balcony facing the pond provides 65m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000 m² west slope is sun-drenched. To the south, there is a view of the Alps.

The space
The chalet is located right on the edge of the forest on a 1,000 m² property with plenty of snow in winter. You can park at the house. From the parking lot, a path of polygonal slabs and a natural staircase leads up.
The shower room and separate toilet have windows. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and freezer as well as an extractor hood.
The chalet is heated with a central pellet heating system, the hot water comes from a high-performance vacuum tube solar thermal system.
The balcony railing consists of horizontal wooden boards. Unattended children could climb over these, so you can lock the access to the balcony via the winter garden.
The balcony to the pond can be shaded with an awning.
The chalet is perfect for 4 people. Two more guests can stay on the sofa bed in the living room. Instead of using the sofa bed, you could also check if the garden studio in the same house or the lake view studio in the neighboring house are still available.
The house is supplied with locally generated green electricity from run-of-river power plants.

Guest access
The entire floor with both balconies and the winter garden is available. The upper part of the garden is allocated to the apartment.

Other things to note
Do not light candles in the wooden house, mobile phone is only available to a limited extent, mostly roaming from Switzerland. Internet comes via radio or satellite and is unreliable and not suitable for streaming.
Vehicle is necessary.
In Hierholz there are no shopping facilities, but St. Blasien and Görwihl are close and offer food markets and shopping facilities with organic quality.

The tourist tax is €1.40 per person per night and is included in the price. The tourist tax includes the Konus card, so buses and trains in the entire Black Forest holiday region are free!

My work: no longer working
We were self-employed for 20 years and retired here. We hiked the Schluchtensteig at that time and then bought a former architect's house as a ruin. Peter has traveled all over the world and negotiated in many cultures. When you're retired, things are no longer so formal, so you'll have to get used to us being on a first-name basis. Except in the early morning, we are very relaxed.
