The modern kitchen includes an oven, refrigerator, and microwave with ample counter space for family cooking. Prefer to grill outside? Choose between the gas grill or charcoal grill while enjoying a friendly game of cornhole or horseshoes!
On rainy days, stay entertained indoors with Smart TVs, foosball, board games, and a cozy fireplace. A landline with free local and long-distance calling and brand-new high-speed Wi-Fi ensure you stay connected during your stay.
Unwind at night in the outdoor hot tub under the stars or soak in the indoor jacuzzi after a long hike. Gather around the campfire to tell stories and make lasting memories.
Some things to note about Shenandoah Solitude:
-Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, feel free to ask us!
-Please try to limit the number of cars per reservation to 2 or fewer.
-The base rate includes FOUR guests. ADDITIONAL guests are EXTRA. This includes additional wear and tear on the property, higher utility usage, increased cleaning time and supplies, as well as the provision of extra amenities to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of all guests.
-Dogs are welcome! There is a weight limit of 50 pounds per dog, exceptions can be made for well trained dogs with approval, please inquire. The pet fee is $150 for up to two dogs. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that!
-PLEASE NOTE: During WINTER conditions, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is REQUIRED.
-Shenandoah Solitude has one outdoor security camera located on the property, pointed toward the driveway and parking area. No cameras are installed in private areas, ensuring your complete privacy during your visit.
Guest access
You’ll have exclusive access to the entire cabin, including the yard, short trail, decks, and fire pit area all surrounded by nature for a peaceful and private experience.

IMPORTANT:
1) *4-wheel drive or SUVs are highly recommended for accessing this mountain top property via a gravel road. However, our location remains accessible by standard vehicles in regular weather conditions. Additionally, the driveway is paved for added convenience.*
2) Just a heads up, being surrounded by nature means you might encounter some bugs, critters, and furry friends, especially in the warmer months. While it's all part of the rustic charm, we want to make sure you're prepared. Even with caution, a few bugs might sneak in, so let's work together to keep them at bay. Keep doors and windows closed tight, and give the kitchen a good clean each night. Thanks for understanding and enjoy your stay amidst nature's wonders!
3) Kindly be informed that in accordance with our accommodation policy, any additional guests, visitors, or pets beyond the specified occupancy on airbnb will incur an additional DOUBLE charge. We strive to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, and this policy helps us maintain a clean pleasant environment for everyone. Therefore, please notify us in advance if there will be extra guests joining your reservation to avoid any inconvenience during your stay. Please be advised that the maximum occupancy for our accommodations is set at 8 guests. Any reservation exceeding this limit will incur a double charge on the reservation total.

-Any issues or concerns should be reported to the host PROMPTLY; otherwise, the host is not responsible, and guests will be held liable for any damages.
-Check-out time is 11:00 am EST on the day of checkout, please ensure you vacate the property by this time to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guests.
