As our property was designed with nature in mind, we also provide an EV charging station for electric vehicles.

Linens, towels, bed sheets, blankets, sleeping eye masks, earplugs, an iron, and umbrellas are all available for your convenience.

Kids
Sure! While the Shenandoah Yurt is child-friendly, it's not child-proof. The following items are available for our littlest guests: Crib, High chair, Changing table, silicone bibs, children's books and toys. ❤️

Important Information
Our yurt is situated in the woods and surrounded by wildlife. Please clean the kitchen every night and securely store all food to prevent pest infestations. DO NOT leave any food or trash outside, as it may attract wild animals. Please help maintain a clean environment by removing shoes upon entering the yurt.

Cell Service
Shenandoah Yurt is in a remote, rural location with no cell service. However, guests may find weak coverage at the entrance of the Skyline Lakes community.

Pets
Pets are allowed with a $50 fee per stay and pre-approval. Please send us a message with a photo, age, and relevant details for your pet(s). All four-legged friends must be well-trained.

Property Quiet Hours and Fireworks
County ordinance enforces quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am. If law enforcement responds to a noise complaint, every individual on the property may face a misdemeanor criminal charge and a county fine of $250. Failure to abide by the county noise ordinance will result in the immediate termination of the stay without a refund. Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property. Violators will have to vacate the premises without a refund and may face additional fines.

Neighborhood highlights

The Shenandoah Yurt is in the community surrounded on 3 sides by the Shenandoah National Park. It features a gravel road for the last 1mi. In snowy conditions, we strongly advise driving a four-wheel-drive vehicle. However, about 48hrs after the last snow, two-wheel-drive vehicles are usually ok. Please take this warning seriously, as we do not offer refunds or cancellations due to weather.
