Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.

Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
220 sq. foot charming Tiny Home under tall pines with a covered porch. Great space for solo travelers and couples that like to be cozy!

The rustic interior has a full kitchen, copper shower, and compost toilet. The loft bedroom is serene with 5 windows and blackout curtains (in case you want to sleep in!). Just 12 minutes to Burlington. 4 minutes to downtown Shelburne and Shelburne Museum.

The space
This Tiny House was featured in the Living Small Documentary, the cover of Design New England magazine and more. Like most Tiny Homes, it is built like a cabin on wheels. The interior decor is farmhouse charm meets modern cottage.

27” screen and Apple TV is provided. Speakers are wired in and you can enjoy your own music via Apple Airplay.

There is a wooden ladder which leads to the sleeping loft with a queen size Talalay latex bed. There you'll find soft cotton sheets with a fluffy down comforter and ample pillows.

**If you are not comfortable climbing and descending a ladder and low ceiling height – this is NOT the place for you.**

The kitchen includes a 3-burner propane stovetop, kettle & pour-over coffee maker, a counter-height fridge with separate freezer, and every tool you'd need to cook a meal. A small bathroom is located in the back with a hot shower and a waterless bucket toilet.

Please note: There is no microwave OR oven.

While we do not allow pets, please note that our dog occasionally joins us when we use the Tiny House. We do our best to clean and sanitize, but if you are very allergic to dogs, this place is not for you.

Guest access
Off-street parking is provided for one car. A short walk (about 125 feet) across a grassy yard brings you to the front steps of the Tiny House. Recreational use of the yard is reserved for residents of the main house.

Tiny house is tucked into a wooded corner of a single family property. The house is private, but not secluded.

Other things to note
The simple, waterless compost toilet is easy to use. After using the bathroom, you'll put an ample scoop or two of cover material (sawdust) into the bucket. If you use enough cover material, we promise it won't smell!

Water: The tiny house is on well water which can sometimes have a sulfur smell. It is regularly tested and safe to drink.

Winter: Because the tiny house is built on a trailer, the floor can be much colder than what you may be used to in a traditional home. We recommend packing warm socks or slippers for use in the house.
