ROADS AND TERRAIN
Due to the secluded nature of our cabin, a 4x4 vehicle is essential. Upon arrival, prepare for a hike along a trail, followed by a climb of 67 steps to reach the front door. Ensure you're physically able and properly equipped for this adventure.
Although the roads leading to Our Escape Eco Cabins have been repaired and are accessible by small cars, it is preferable if you have a 4WD vehicle or SUV.
You must drive across a small river to be able to park in front of the cabin. If you have a small car you will have to park by the river or the main road cross the bridge on foot and walk up to the cabin. The house is 7minutes up hill walk from the bridge.
We understand that this is very inconvenient especially if you have extra luggage and groceries so we have partnered with our neighbor who can carry you across the river and up to the cabin in his van for a small fee. If you are interested in his service, please let Michael know ahead of time so he can be available upon your arrival.
MEALS
Due to the secluded, rural nature of our community Spring Hill we recommend you bring your groceries. The nearest supermarket is in Buff Bay 30min away. There are 2 country shops near by that only sell essential items. You can also request housekeeping for assistance with meal preparations at an additional cost determined by them.

Hi. My name is Ketao And my wife’s name is Yhordanka. We met 20 years ago in Cuba (donde crecen las palmas). And we have been wondering through life ever since. We run a small business together to provide for us and our three boys. I tend to be fearless ( mistakes galore) she is more careful. We are passionate about social (not political) change as the only way to improve on the future. I enjoy implementing renewable energy systems and planting fruit trees in an effort to tackle air quality and other ecological problems.
