Access to all areas of rental suite is permitted, though access through hatch to attic and to crawl space under the unit is not permitted. A locked door between the unit and the main house will remain locked at all times during your stay.
Access to the large field behind the house and the treed acreage behind (Old French Road is accessible via a path) is permitted. Baseball, football etc are possible and permitted, assuming our lawnmower is capable of mowing it (no guarantees, but we will do our best)!!!
Access to waterfront is a short walk down the hill towards the Rona store. If you need to fix something, ask us. We may have the tools. If we dont, we may know a guy…

Neighborhood highlights
SeaCat's Rest is located in the Arichat coastal village, a friendly and cooperative community that supports and helps each other. A few minutes along Highway 206 by car is the local friendly Co-op store and Liquor Board, and a few minutes in the other direction is the post office, a selection of cozy and inexpensive restaurants, a couple of churches and Richmond county offices, as well as the St. Anne's Urgent Care facility Guardian Drugstore, Irving Gas Station and Jeanties Mart - where you can find a little bit of just about everything.
Just down the hill to the water, there is the low road, with a fishing boat jetties, processing and the Lenoir Forge Museum, a delightful trip back in time that showcases the rich history of Arichat in tall ship times. While Arichat is no longer the maritime centre of wooden ship building and maintenance it was in Victorian times, Arichat Harbour is still very much a working harbour with active and prosperous fisheries.
Just drop your line in one of several places and you will pull out fresh and tasty mackerel for your supper!
