Tucked beneath the oaks just outside Savannah, Eichel Haus invites you to slow down and settle into a gentler rhythm. Begin mornings with coffee on the deck and birdsong overhead, spend the day exploring Savannah's historic streets, waterfront restaurants, and cultural attractions, then return to a private retreat that feels worlds away—while remaining just minutes from Savannah, Pooler, and the area's sports complexes.
Inspired by Nordic simplicity and nature-connected living, Eichel Haus blends thoughtful design, wellness-inspired amenities, and peaceful outdoor spaces into a stay that feels both restorative and convenient.
Whether you're visiting for a special event, concert, business trip, couples getaway, or simply seeking a quiet reset, Eichel Haus offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional hotel experience.
THE STUDIO
Designed as a flexible studio retreat, Eichel Haus balances open living with thoughtful functionality. During the day, the space feels bright and spacious with lounge seating, a dedicated workspace, and natural light streaming through European-style tilt-and-turn windows. At night, the Murphy bed transforms the studio into a cozy sleeping retreat designed for restful evenings and slow mornings.

☕ KITCHENETTE & DINING
The kitchenette is thoughtfully equipped for everything from slow morning coffee rituals to simple meals and evening snacks. Guests will find a full-size refrigerator with filtered water and ice, a microwave, electric kettle, drip coffee maker, French press, and a portable induction cooktop paired with quality cookware for light cooking during their stay.
Flexible dining is built into the studio's design. A rolling kitchen island serves as both a prep station and dining table, allowing guests to adapt the space throughout the day. Paired with folding chairs, it can be positioned wherever you'd like—whether enjoying breakfast by the windows, working remotely, preparing a meal, or settling in for a relaxed dinner after exploring Savannah.

Whether rinsing off after a soak, cooling down on a warm Georgia afternoon, or simply enjoying the open-air experience, this space offers a unique feature rarely found in traditional accommodations.
THE OAK DECK
The Oak Deck serves as the social heart of Eichel Haus.
Start the day with coffee beneath the trees, enjoy an afternoon reading in the shade, or gather around the gas fire pit as evening settles in. During the cooler months, the deck becomes an ideal space for gentle movement, stretching, yoga, or Pilates surrounded by fresh air and birdsong. Two yoga mats and light hand weights are provided for guests who wish to bring their wellness practice outdoors or enjoy a quiet session inside the studio.

OPTIONAL WELLNESS EXPERIENCES
As we launch Eichel Haus, a limited number of wellness experiences may be available during your stay. Availability is currently limited as we thoughtfully introduce new offerings, with plans to expand availability in the near future.

Guest access
We occupy the main house at the front of the property so feel free to contact us if you need anything during your stay. We have two littles and an outdoor cat. You may hear or see them playing near the main house.
Land may have other guests staying in the RV.
Guests will have private access to the wellness studio, private deck, outdoor shower, and outdoor bathroom throughout their stay.
The deck is designed as an extension of the studio, offering space to relax, enjoy morning coffee beneath the oaks, gather around the fire pit, practice yoga, or simply unwind in nature.
You may notice a small additional structure located on the deck. This space is not currently available for guest use and will remain closed during your stay as we prepare it for a future phase of Eichel Haus. If you're curious about what's coming next, we'd be happy to share more about the project or provide a quick tour when available.
Looking ahead, Eichel Haus will continue to evolve. Plans are underway to add a sauna and cold plunge experience in late 2026 or early 2027, further expanding the wellness offerings available to guests.

You'll find tips and suggestions throughout the studio on how to make the most of the space, from flexible furniture arrangements to mindful energy use. Tiny living isn't about sacrifice—it's about discovering how a thoughtfully designed space can provide everything you need while encouraging a more intentional pace.
The property is fully fenced; however, the entrance gate typically remains open unless otherwise noted.
Please note that while some of our other accommodations on the property welcome pets, Eichel Haus is a pet-free retreat. The studio, deck, outdoor shower, and outdoor bathroom remain private for Eichel Haus guests, though you may occasionally encounter pets elsewhere on the property. This helps us maintain the peaceful atmosphere and accommodate guests with sensitivities and allergies.
