Saltwood Studio is perfect for couples and solo travellers looking for a special space to relax and unwind. Simply step off your private balcony to enjoy the large outside hot tub, stunning pools and tropical gardens of the gorgeous boutique Balinese-inspired Santai Resort in Casuarina, NSW.

The studio is one of the very few studios in the resort that is absolute poolside. It is simply gorgeous when it's sunny but also really cozy when it's cooler or rainy and is absolutely stunning at night!

The space
The studio is very spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished quite differently to some of the other rooms at the resort.

We've included many personal touches including:

Saltwood Studio has an amazing central location. Stroll one block down our quiet leafy local street for a morning beach walk then pop across the road to Tucker Cafe for a great coffee, breakfast or brunch.

For dinner, there are lovely restaurants within easy walking distance. Two favourites are Jordy’s Casuarina (amazing sourdough pizza & calzone, great wine list + delicious local gelati). The Spice Den is also lovely. It's the resort’s on-site restaurant (delicious modern Asian cuisine + cocktails). Self-catering is also very easy - simply pick up supplies across the road from the local supermarket, deli and bottle shop and enjoy on your balcony or by the pool.

The studio is a wonderful base to explore the beautiful Tweed and Byron coasts and hinterlands. Enjoy the stunning beaches and creeks, wander up to Norries Headland or Fingal Head to spot some dolphins and whales or simply enjoy a fabulous meal from any one of the local cafes or restaurants then simply spa, snooze & repeat! The entire studio apartment and private poolside balcony are yours to enjoy. Common resort areas include an outdoor hot tub, two large swimming pools (one of which is heated year round), sun lounges and Balinese pavilions. These are shared with other resort guests.

Other things to note
Within the resort, there is an award-winning restaurant, The Spice Den. It's a local favourite! You're welcome to dine-in or order a cocktail and some finger food to enjoy by the pool. There is also an onsite Wellness Centre.

This is an open-plan studio apartment. It’s very spacious (60m2). Living, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are essentially in the same room.

The resort maintains both a strict no parties and no smoking/vaping policy.

Undercover onsite car parking is provided complimentary for one vehicle. There’s also lots of free on-street parking available around the resort.

Also, if you happen to be travelling with your little one, we have a gorgeous cot bundle available for a small additional fee. It includes a Baby Björn cot (perfect for sleeping + as a play pen), beautiful organic linen, a little blanket and pillow plus a Warren Hill linen play mat.
