A riverfront retreat in a private cozy studio, with all the cabin feels on 2.5 acres. Nestled 20 minutes from Mt. Hood Village and <1 hr from Portland. Wifi & hotub is available! Please read the full listing description to make sure this space is the right fit for you.

Close to highway 26 for easy access in/out, ~1165ft in elevation on a private, graveled road; an AWD or 4x4 is recommended during winter months, though usually not necessary.

(Clackamas Co. Lodging Tax Certificate #890-24)

The space
Private access to a small studio on 2.5 acres (homeowners live onsite, in a separate building) overlooking the Salmon River, with a view of the river confluence where the Sandy River meets. After a long day of fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking, rejuvenate in the hot tub.

The studio is ideal for 2 people but can comfortably accommodate up to 4 with 1 queen bed, 1 comfortable futon (double bed), a kitchenette, and a full bathroom. The kitchenette has one electric burner with a pot/pan for light cooking, a toaster oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, water kettle, and a Brita pitcher (although tap water is OK to drink, and quite good!).

Guests are more than welcome to use the hot tub, BBQ grill, and gas fireplace. NOTE: These amenities are located next to the host's main house; to respect the privacy of our guests and ourselves, the windows of the main house facing the hot tub area and yard are shaded.

Dogs are welcome with prior approval and a pet fee - up to 2 max. Pets are not permitted on bedding or furniture, and must never be left alone unless they are crated/kenneled.

Trees and nature surround us, so bugs and wildlife are present. Please keep in mind your surroundings at all times.

Guest access
In addition to the studio, you have access to 2.5 acres of our riverfront property, including access to a walking trail, access down to the Salmon River (access can be rough with large boulders), and a view of a nice "waterfall" during the wet months. Guests can use the hot tub (located next to the main house deck) and outdoor common areas which are shared with the owner who live in the main house full time.

Other things to note
- No parties or large gatherings are allowed.
- Only guests listed in the reservation are permitted, no outside guests.
- Owners live onsite in the main house, a separate unit from the AirBnB studio.
- Gravel with slight downhill on private road to house. AWD or 4x4 recommended during winter months but not necessary
- Our property is not child-proofed and is on open acreage, so it may not be suitable or safe for small children and infants.
- We do not have a gated yard so dogs of guests should be on a leash when outside on-premise or in the neighborhood.
- Our neighbor has two friendly huskies (orange/red and a black/white) that often wander over to our property. You may expect to see them onsite at times.
- We're on a septic tank. Please DO NOT flush anything besides toilet paper in the toilet, and do not drain anything but liquid in the kitchen (no food, oils, or coffee-ground).
- Access to backup drinkable water is available below sink if the water pump goes out, generally due to storms or power outages that occasionally happen.
