Disconnect from the noise in Bone. Our Rustic Cabin Retreat offers the perfect destination for your mind, body, and soul. You'll find the amazing energy, beautiful views, and the call of the wild all at your front door. The Bone area offers some amazing side by side trails, epic snow machining, spectacular mountain bike and cross-country skiing or snow shooing terrain and is close to some of the best reservoir fishing in Idaho. There is literally something for every outdoor enthusiast.

The space
The Rustic Cabin Retreat is approximately 400 sq. ft. Cozy and comfortable. The kitchen offers a 2-burner stove top, microwave, and mini fridge. The patio is a comfortable place to take in the views of some amazing Idaho sunsets, mountains scenery, and wildlife. Cuddle up with your favorite beverage and take it all in.

Guest access
The cabin is located on approximately 10 acres. There is a cabin next door - so you have an opportunity to make some new friends. There are historic outbuildings located on the property. Please feel free to take a look, but we prefer you stay on the outside. Steele-n-Jo's Bone is a historical landmark in the Bone area - forever known as The Bone Store. It is a really cool venue that is open seasonally. Feel free to sit on the front porch, get in some yoga on the lawn in the amphitheater, picnic on the outdoor tables, or just hang out and take in the energy. All they ask is that you clean up after yourself and respect the property. Stop in and see em if they are open.

Other things to note
WiFi is not a thing in Bone. Most cellular phones have service. There are TVs and DVD players located in the cabin - but we highly recommend unplugging to take in the beauty and energy that Bone has to offer. Relax, refocus, recharge. We also recommend the Onyx app. Landowners in Bone get a little testy when you wander onto their property. They take the No Trespassing signs pretty seriously round these parts. There are plenty of areas to explore - just know before you go and keep on the right side of the fence line. Don't let the paved roads fool ya - 4WD is definitely a must in the winter months and it doesn't hurt to have it while exploring during the other seasons.

Neighborhood highlights

Bone Idaho is considered to be one of the most treasured historical places in Southeast Idaho. It is so remote; it was the last place in the United States to receive telephone service.

Bone boasts some amazing, groomed trails and miles of maintained gravel roads. Hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, site seeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and boating are among the many of recreational activities available in our area.

In the summer months leisurely drives and off-roading fun lead you to Lava Hot Springs, Soda Springs, Alpine, Wayan, Blackfoot, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Ririe, and Swan Valley. The amazing scenery is worth taking the lonely Bone Road to your favorite back road destination.

Our cabin retreats are located right in the middle for easy access to it all.

Our 10 acres offer a peaceful place to relax, recharge, and refocus. Amazing sun sets, beautiful mountain views, and occasional wildlife viewing are among the greatest attractions of our space.
