Ruby Apartment is situated just steps away from the renowned Loiza Street and on McLeary Avenue, in the heart of Ocean Park. This modernly designed apartment is located in The Emerald Guest House. The private apartment features a King Size Bed, a 50" Smart TV, an open closet, a Twin Size Sofa Bed, a Work Desk, a Private Garden, and a bathroom with seating. The Emerald Guest House offers a common kitchen, which is the only shared space in the entire house, and a beautiful outdoor Koi Pond & deck.

The space
The Ruby Apartment is a studio apartment. Upon entering your private apartment, you will have access to:

A king-size bed with a rod and hangers, a luggage rack, iron & hairdryer, 50" Smart TV, and a ceiling fan. The studio also features a sofa bed that converts into a twin-size mattress and is Air Conditioned. If you'd like the twin-size mattress set up for an additional person, please let us know 24 hours prior to arrival. If not, it will only have a regular sheet.

The bathroom follows and includes a sink, a large mirror, a shower, and a bench with a makeup tray.

Besides the apartment, which is fully private with its own private entrance, the only shared space is a spacious kitchen designed to comfortably accommodate various guests at any moment of the day. It includes a large refrigerator divided per apartment, a 4-range stove, a kitchen sink, a coffee machine, and most of the kitchen essentials needed to cook a meal, along with complimentary 100% local coffee.

The outdoor garden located in the back of the house features a 12-foot koi pond with live fish and outdoor seating.

Guest access
Access to the property is through a gated door, and we will provide you with codes. Afterward, you can use a lockbox to grab the keys to the apartment.

We have three parking spots available on-site, and these can be utilized by guests on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Your accommodation includes a private apartment with a dedicated entrance. The apartment is exclusively for you and your party, comprising a bathroom, living room, and bedroom.

Please note that the kitchen and outdoor garden areas are the only shared spaces. Access to these spaces is external to your apartment.

The Emerald provides a space for relaxation and encourages interaction among guests through outdoor common grounds. Please familiarize yourself with our House Rules for information on the do's and don'ts of the property.

The kitchen is a shared space among all guests. Kindly ensure that you clean up after yourself, leaving no mess for other guests who may wish to use it.

The refrigerator is also a shared facility, with each apartment having its designated space inside. Please respect the belongings of other guests in the refrigerator. The kitchen is the ONLY shared space in the house; all apartments are private.

Hot water is solar powered and runs without a problem, if by any chance you encounter an issue with not enough hot water due to cloudy temperature, please let us know so we can turn on our backup system

Our outdoor garden features a large live KOI pond. It's important not to feed the fish, as they have a specific diet. Any human food or other items may disrupt their water quality and pose harm. The pond area is under constant surveillance with cameras. Any damage or negligence related to the fish may result in additional costs for the guest.

Given that you are in the tropics, be aware that the summer season tends to bring mosquitoes and ants. Ensure you come prepared for this.
