Roy's is a retro townhouse with a beautifully renovated and light-filled interior, right in the centre of Bargara. It's only a few minutes walk to the beach, pubs, cafes and everything else Bargara has to offer.
The space
The luxury king bed in the master bedroom is perfect for watching the sunrise, and the second bedroom features two comfortable single beds.
We accommodate 4 guests as a standard, but can offer a small fold-out mattress for an additional child, please let us know prior if this is required.
Roy's has a large kitchen and open plan living area where you can spend hours reading on the daybed catching the breeze, or watching Netflix on the smart TV. The outdoor dining area flows from the kitchen and is surrounded by tropical plants.
The under-stair cupboard is full of games, books, snorkels, bodyboards and everything else we could think of to create a fun beach getaway, as well as two bikes being available for guests to explore the town and ample bike paths. There is a large laundry with outdoor clothesline, and outdoor shower to rinse off with after trips to the beach.
Guest access
One off-street parking space is provided to the side of the townhouse, please see parking location in the gallery. The large grassed area to the right of the townhouse is also available to use for outdoor games, etc.
Other things to note
Roy's is right opposite the beautiful Bargara golf course, and only a few hundred meters from the esplanade and the recently renovated Bargara Beach Hotel.
Bargara Central shopping center, which includes Woolworths & Aldi and multiple takeaways is an easy 5 minute stroll away, so once you arrive you won't even need your car. We also offer guests free use of 2 bicycles for getting around town and checking out the local scenic bikeways.
Roy's is also a short drive from local attractions, such as Mon Repos Turtle Centre and Bundaberg Rum Distillery.
We also accomodate longer stays for health students and professionals coming into the Bundaberg region for practical placement or work. Please feel free to message to discuss long term rates for these kinds of stays. Bundaberg Hospital is located less than 20 minutes from Roy's.
