Escape to The Mountain Laurel nestled on 10 private mountainous acres in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Located on the scenic backcountry byway, this newly remodeled cabin is just minutes away from Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, Hollerwood(no trailering needed) & more! Relax on the front porch while sipping your morning coffee. Gather around the firepit & relax with loved ones after a day of exploring or just soaking in natures beauty! Come make memories at The Mountain Laurel!

The space
The Mountain Laurel boasts one bedroom with a queen bed. The large, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings combines the living room, kitchen, and dining area.
Nice sized bathroom with a walk in shower.
Washer and dryer with laundry soap provided.
Kitchen stocked fully with the addition of spices and spray oil for cooking. Oatmeal, hot chocolate, popcorn and coffee on us!

Guest access
Guests have full access to The Mountain Laurel and are invited to explore the private 10 acres. A map showing the property acreage is located in the Guest Book inside the cabin.

Other things to note
Guests should be aware that this is located in a forested area with local wildlife. Do not leave food outside or in your vehicle(s).
Cell service can be very spotty and there is no WIFI. Embrace the opportunity to unplug and unwind.
In addition, because the cabin is in a forested area, do not be surprised if you see an occasional insect, spider, fly, etc. Be sure to keep door(s) to cabin closed at all times.
Occasionally, guests may experience weather conditions or power outages that are out of our control. We will do all we can to assist but are not responsible for issues beyond our control.
