The space
Rosehill Heights sits on a steep hill in the residential neighborhood of Rosehill above Soufriere. It is the perfect setting for groups. The village is a short ten-minute walk downhill, where you will find several bars, a mini-mart, a beach, a local dive shop, a kayak center, and the famous Bubble Beach.

It is a fully furnished unit with two verandahs, an open kitchen-dining-living room, and a TV room.

Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the other two have a shared bathroom. The hot water is solar heated, so rainy days can cause room temperature water or cooler.

There is a washing machine below the steps outside the house for your use.

Since Hurrican Maria, there have been water issues with occasional water lock-offs and water pressure issues.

You might hear dogs barking or roosters crowing, but the fans do a good job drowning out night noises.

Dominica does experience load shedding every few months and you may not have electricity for a day.

I've been living in the Caribbean for 20+ years. Air BnB is my preferred way to travel. I love avoiding touristy areas and staying in more off-the-beaten path places while gaining inside travel tips from hosts. I am an avid water-sports enthusiast: sea kayaking, open water swimming, freediving (Apnea), body-surfing, and I can follow orders on a sailboat from a captain. I own a guesthouse in Dominica and am semi-retired.
