Live the charm of yesteryear in a romantic guest room in an authentic Venetian residence. Nestled on the second floor of a 1890 Muranese house, this private suite is a time capsule blending vintage and contemporary elements.

Featuring a queen-size bed, the en-suite bathroom with a shower is encased in glass walls, providing a scenic view. Ideal for a couple's retreat in an unconventional Venetian setting, close to the historic city center. Conveniently positioned in front of a water-bus stop.

The space
Indulge in the allure of the Room with View at Casa Navagero, an enchanting guest suite within an original XIX century house. Awaken to the melodic symphony of lagoon waters caressing the Fondamenta, with unforgettable sunset panoramas painting the canal. This very view inspired Venetian painter Canaletto in 1725, and its timeless allure persists.

If you seek an experience beyond standard hotels, this holiday rental seamlessly combines a uniquely refurbished space with authentic charm. Nestled in Murano Navagero, its strategic location offers proximity to Venice's key sites, courtesy of a convenient water bus stop right at the doorstep.

Bathe in natural light through two canal-facing windows, where sunset reflections dance on the trembling waters, creating a magically romantic ambiance. The room boasts a cozy queen-size bed, a stylish antique wooden wardrobe, and a petite desk, all complemented by modern amenities like air-conditioning, heating, and a mini-bar fridge.

The bespoke glass-walled bathroom, adorned with Patricia Urquiola's Mutina tiles, is a design-magazine dream. Featuring a free-standing cilindric sink and a walk-in shower, it's a contemporary oasis within a historic setting. Original XIX century wooden floors and beamed ceilings infuse the room with character, completing a stay that transcends time and captivates the heart.

Guest access
The whole room with en-suite private bathroom is made fully and exclusively available to the guests. The access to the space, located on the second floor of a traditional house overlooking the canal, is through the main entrance at Fondamenta (canal bank) level, few steps from the water bus stop.
Original bronzed handrails help to go up the two flights of stairs, being the second one quite steep.

During your stay
Step into the Room with View at Casa Navagero, where the first floor is my home. The entrance is our shared space, so don't hesitate to connect for anything you might need or curious about. From local gems to Venice insiders' tips, consider me your friendly guide.

Beyond the accommodation, let's share a bit of life. I'm passionate about books, art, Venice, and history. If you're into the fascinating world where renovation meets design, we'll have some interesting chats. Your stay at Casa Navagero is not just a visit; it's an invitation to a warm and welcoming experience. Can't wait to make your time here special!

Welcome to the captivating uniqueness of Venice, a city gracefully built on the lagoon, where the absence of cars and the charm of Murano as an island add to its allure. Neighborhood highlights

Murano is very well-connected to all Venice key places, also during the night, but still blissfully off the beaten tracks of tourists.
The area is famous all over the world for glassblowing techniques: you will be able to witness artistry in action at the glass showrooms and furnaces scattered all over the island and at walking distance from the house.
A bridge away is the Glass Museum and the main church of St. Donato with 12th century gilded apse mosaic and a Byzantine style mosaic floor.

I like to spend time with my guests
Hello! I spent half my life away from Venice: studying in the „Italian Far East“, getting „germanised" in Bochum and Göttingen, enjoying the post-Olympic vibe in Turin, getting drunk in the worst bars in Moscow, following the silk road in Central Asia, clubbing in Berlin and pretending to be a professional manager in a multinational corporation in Africa and Middle East. All of this to realize that there is no place like home, especially if home is Venice! I am currently living in the island of Murano and I have decided to share two guest rooms in my house "Casa Navagero", have a look at the listings! I also love riding mountain-bikes and snowboarding. This is the reason I have a "Cozy flat in the Alps!" in Pontebba. I am also a licensed tour leader: I am ready to share my true love for Venicecity, my passion for sustainable tourism and few tips about the Venice and the Alps I like as a local. Ask me for some suggestions and, if available, I would be happy to create a personalised tour for you! Feel free to contact me for any information you may need both in case you are planning to have some sport and relax in the Alps in Pontebba or if you decide to stay at my place when visiting Venice and its lagoon.
