Welcome to us and our house in Romme in Dalarna! Quiet rural location near Borlänge and only 15 minutes to Romme Alpin. Perfect for remote work with fast Wi-Fi. 5 beds (140 cm + 4 x 90 cm), new kitchen with modern appliances, including induction stove and steam oven. Soapstone stove, TV, shower, washing machine with dryer. Free parking. Welcome to a comfortable vacation - all year round!

The space
In this recently renovated early 19th century couple's house, you will find three well-planned rooms with a genuine warm and inviting atmosphere. The house shares an exterior wall with our own residential building and is equipped with central heating and free Wi-Fi. There is also free parking with electrical outlets for engine heaters/chargers. Only 15 minutes by car to Romme Alpin!

On the ground floor, there is a hall, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room and a small bedroom with a 140 cm wide bed. In the living room, there is a soapstone fireplace with wood that you are welcome to use free of charge.

Upstairs, there is a cozy sleeping loft with a low ceiling and two single beds (90 cm wide) as well as a small room with two additional single beds.

The kitchen is brand new from 2022 and has an induction stove, steam oven and a new fridge/freezer. The bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet, and washing machine/dryer.

The area is very quiet and is close to the historic Rommehedslägret. It is only 200 meters to the nearest lunch restaurant and 300 meters to the nearest pizzeria.

During the winter season, there is the possibility of skiing in Romme Alpin, which is 15 minutes away by car. There are also fantastic cross-country trails in Gyllbergen (30 minutes away).

During the rest of the year, you can enjoy Dalarna when it is most beautiful. Nearby, there is a swimming area and beautiful walking and cycling paths. Romme is an excellent base for day trips to Siljansbygden, Falun and other parts of Dalarna. It is close to nature experiences, swimming areas and fishing opportunities. Welcome!
