Located on Hwy 19 on the outskirts of Eminence with only our "Barn by the creek" cabin to the north. (Message us to rent both together!) Enjoy a beautiful country setting with the conveniences of great WiFi and Dollar General just across the street! Dog friendly!
The space
Bedroom 1 - Queen bed, 2 closets, full length mirrors, built-in cedar cabinets & drawers.
Bedroom 2 - Twin Bunk Bed, dresser, TV w/ Roku (No cable or local channels)
Sunroom - Queen Sofa Sleeper with foam topper, 6-seat dining table, TV w/ Roku (No cable or local channels), closet with games and pack 'n' play, welcome basket with smore's fixins'!
Bathroom - Large tile walk-in shower with adjustable and handheld showerheads, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, large sink/ vanity surrounded by custom-built cedar cabinets.
Living Room - 2 small couches, additional chairs, wood stove, smoke/carbon monoxide detector.
Full Kitchen - Full-size refrigerator/ freezer, oven/ stove, microwave, dishwasher, sink, eating and drinking utensils for 6, pots and pans, crockpot, toaster, mixer, food processor... all the kitchen gadgets needed to whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner! ***Assorted coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate provided for Keurig machine. Standard coffee pot available as well.***
Basement - Washer/ dryer, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, folding counter, towels for the river, life vests, oars and misc. equipment for floating, extra lawn chairs, basement can be used as shelter in event of tornado.
Basement of shed out back contains 5 Kayaks & a an 8 person raft!
Exterior - Huge wrap-around porch and gazebo with outdoor tables and furniture, propane grill, fire pit, fenced-in yard. Large parking lot/ driveway, 2 covered garages, room for UTV's/ ATV's/ trailers to get in/out without issue, 3.5 acres of pasture & trees.
Creek - Small rock-bottom creek borders property. ***Please stay off of the East bank of the creek to respect our neighbor's property and "leave no trace" - cleaning fees (starting at a minimum of $50) will be applied if litter is left around the property after a guest's stay.***
Guest access
Guests will be able to use entire cabin & 3.5 acre property with the exception of a small closet in the basement and a small shop in the back yard. Free parking available in driveway and large garage! Garage is large enough to bring UTV's along & park trailers!
Other things to note
Rocky Bottom Ranch sits on Highway 19, the main roadway through town. There can be some highway noise during peak travel hours.
Forget something or don't want to haul groceries down? No problem! Dollar General is conveniently located just across the street and Tim's Best Way has groceries just a mile into town on Hwy 19!
Trash is picked up on Monday mornings. If you are staying Sunday night, we'd be grateful if you'd set the bin out by the roadside. Thank you! :)
***NO SMOKING ANY SUBSTANCES INSIDE.
***No Littering - Additional cleaning fees starting at $50 minimum will apply if litter is found on the property after your stay.
***Any extra guests and/ or events/ parties must be preauthorized by host. Any unauthorized guests/ events/ parties will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
***Late check out fee: $20 for every 30 minutes after 10 AM.
***Respect property boundaries - Don't go on the East bank of the creek (the neighbor's property).
***There is a SECURITY CAMERA at the entrance of Rocky Bottom Ranch. Any damage to the camera and/ or obstructing the view or its power source is grounds for immediate eviction without refund. Same rules apply for tampering with the Wifi.
DOG RULES:
-2 dog limit unless otherwise pre-approved.
-House-trained, well behaved dogs only. No cats.
-Dogs must be crated or put in fenced yard if left unattended. **If your dogs are able to jump a standard chain-link fence, please choose crating if left unattended. This cabin sits right on highway 19 and is very busy, even in the off season.**
-Please clean up all waste and dispose in garage trash bin.
-Any damage caused by pet is guest's responsibility to compensate host for replacement.
WATERCRAFT RULES:
-Each person MUST have a life vest with them on the water - it's state law.
-Any loss of or damage caused to watercraft/ paddles may exceed deposit and will be guest's responsibility to compensate host for replacement.
