RiverWalk Lodge is a newly renovated cabin with waterfront access to the W. Branch Ausable River and seasonal mountain views. Located in the hamlet of Wilmington this cabin is close by to all the Adirondacks have to offer from fishing and kayaking from our shore to hiking, biking and skiing! Our cabin is less than 5 minutes to Whiteface Mountain and 15 minutes to Lake Placid. The cabin sleeps 6 -8 guests and boasts 3 porches, 2 living areas a gourmet kitchen, wet bar and fire pit area.

The space
The main walk in level of our home has a living room, kitchen, 1/2 bath and 2 covered porches with one that is screened in offering seasonal water and mountain views. The living room has a comfortable seating area to relax or play games and a TV. The newly renovated kitchen is equipped with soft closing cabinetry, stainless steel appliances ( no dishwasher) and a beautiful butcher block counter top. This space is perfect for family time, fun and lively game nights, sharing a meal or enjoying the scenery from the back porch.

The upstairs has two bedrooms with queen size beds, both with cathedral ceilings and ample natural lighting. A full size spa like bathroom is provided on this level and there is also a dedicated work space and laundry.

In the lower level is another living space with a TV, wet bar and full size bathroom. It is a walkout with access to another back porch and the fire pit area. The 3rd bedroom is also located on this floor and offers a queen size bed with plenty of natural lighting overlooking the back yard. A queen sectional sleeper sofa is offered in the living area on this level.

The house is equipped with a whole house generator.

Guest Access:

This cabin is nestled in the woods and completely private to you. We offer self check in and check out however the owner is available by phone in case there are any questions or concerns.

Water Access:

Our property is right on the WB Ausable River which is easily accessed from the groomed pathway at the front of the house. It's a short walk of only 400 ft to our shoreline where you will find a stone firepit and sandy beach perfect for fishing or launching your canoe or kayak.

Other things to note
Enjoy fishing and boating from our property on the West Branch Ausable River. If it's hiking or skiing you enjoy then we are located less than 5 minutes from the Flume trails and Whiteface Mountain.

Riverbend Way is accessible via Route 86 in Wilmington. It is a gravel road and during the winter is plowed when we get 3 inches of snow or more. Our cabin is about a quarter of a mile off Route 86 and not visible to the roadway.

My husband and I are local to the Adirondack region. We have been coming to the Wilmington/Lake Placid area for years with our children to enjoy the many outdoor activities and are absolutely thrilled to be able to have a permanent residence now.
