Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening shades and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is located uniquely, between the beautiful Barren & Gasper Rivers. This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. Prepare for an experience with your favorite person, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's anything you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can.

The space
Our 750+ square foot cabin, with a studio layout, has 180° views through large glass windows, overlooking the Barren River.

Enjoy amenities such as waterfront views from our full bathroom with a 60 inch jacuzzi tub. There's also a 32" shower stall, king-sized memory foam bed, water-view dining (inside & out), campsite, water front bonfire (must purchase your own firewood), and a patio with a table & two chairs, overlooking the Barren River. On a clear night, the view of the stars is dreamy.

Our cabin is equipped with a full kitchen (except oven), flat screen TV and a PlayStation 4 for watching DvDs or playing video games (there are a few of each provided).

If you wish to grill out, you'll need to bring your own grill, grilling supplies, etc, but are welcome to do so.

Guest access
Keypad door lock code given prior to check in.

On-site camping is available, fish from our bank (you'll need a KY fishing license), enjoy the river through the floor to ceiling windows, or relax in the 60" jacuzzi tub. There's something for everyone at this magical place!

Entering the River:
If you choose to enter the water, by signing this agreement and renting our place, you are indicating that you understand the inherent danger of the River, and you agree to enter the water at your own risk. There is never a life guard on duty, and enjoying the river by entering the water can be dangerous. The River's water level can rise rapidly, so be careful. We ask that you be mindful, and do not leave trash, nor throw debris into the water. We suggest that you bring your own personally fitted life vests if you plan to enter the water. Again, if you enter the water, you do so at your own risk.

We ask that you use the central heat and air for setting your desired comfort level in the home, but keep doors and windows closed at all time to keep bugs out of the cabin.

Other things to note
Make yourself familiar with our cancellation policy. We are committed to keeping consistent with our cancellation policy, so as to treat all guests equally.

Wipe up all water around window seals and the floor after using jacuzzi tub.

We do not have a grill on site, so if you'd like to grill out while at our place, please bring your own.

We have river frontage for you to enjoy a bonfire, but please bring wood purchased from a local retailer. This is in effort to preserve the forest on the property, and avoid the emerald ash borer from finding its way to our forest from wood brought in from different places. Please do not chop wood on the stone patio, wooden deck, stairs, or concrete areas. If you do so, and damage the property, you will be held financially accountable. Please don't pour grease in the sink, please don't leave the cabin door open to keep bugs out, and please do not flush any toilet paper down the toilet (old septic - use the trash can provided for all bathroom paper products).

We have a Keurig, but do not have a traditional coffee maker. So, bring your K-Cups. =)
