This luxury Tarzan lifestyle is the perfect spot for adventure in Costa Rica. Located within the Rancho Delicioso organic farm, eco village, and permaculture center. You can share our yoga deck and swimming pool.

This is a great location for surfers. We're equally distant from both Playa Carmen and Cabuya surf breaks. Please ask for specific location and directions.

There is a full kitchen in the River Palace equipped everything you need for cooking meals for groups.

The space
It's very open, and is the tallest habitable structure in the Southern Nicoya Peninsula, as well as perhaps the country's biggest tree house. It's made mostly from teak wood grown right across the street.

The design comes from a dream I had, where I saw a structure floating above a gorge above three rivers, accessed by three bridges. The roof is made from palm leaves, in the local style that's been used for millennia.

Guest access
This is part of our ecovillage and we have many farm animals, trails, gardens, trails, and interesting things to see. Feel free to explore the grounds.

The location is in the middle of the peninsula, around 7 min drive to Montezuma and 15 min to the beaches of Santa Teresa and Malpais.

Other things to note
For Christmas, New Years, and Easter weeks, it's minimum 6 nights.

Note that there's an extra charge of $20/night for every person over 4 people. It's actually possible to fit up to 18 people if every space in every bed is filled.

Where you’ll be

Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica

Experience living in a tropical eco-village. Here at Rancho Delicioso, we're growing a lot of food on site, and everything is organic.

Our pool is at the owner's house, around 100m away, and you're welcome to use it. We're very friendly people and love to meet the guests, so you're welcome whether we're using it or not. If you'd like a private time to use it, just let us know.

We also have an affordable farm-to-table restaurant within a short walk of this rental, with a children's pool (with slide) and playground. Called "Wonderland", the restaurant is open from 4-9pm Thursday through Saturday, but renters can use its facilities during other times too, such as our ping pong and foosball tables, our BBQ, and the pool and playground.

There is a restaurant close to the farm called Tierra Y Fuego which is open also Thursday to Sunday evenings. It's authentic Italian, a bit pricy but delicious. Also we have a restaurant at our retreat center called Anamaya. It's about 6 minutes toward Montezuma from the farm. We have healthy food and maybe the best view in the peninsula. All of these you can find on g-maps.

Our current class schedule at the farm is: 9-10am M, W, F aerobic workout called Ken-sanity, it's a HIIT (high intensity interval training). We also often have yoga and other classes.

You can arrange a guided tour of the permaculture farm and tree houses with Joseph. It's $10/person minimum $30.
