10 min to Okemo. Comfortable family home with south facing views of the state forest across the field and river. This home has a 15-acre backyard with walking trails and a private firepit on the river. The bunkroom has a tv and foosball table to entertain the kids. The living room has a wood stove to stay cozy during a cool VT evening. The back deck has bar seating for Apres Ski or after hiking. Right on Main St, easy come & go. 2 minutes to Singleton's General Store and Outer Limits Brewing.

The space
The main floor has an open concept kitchen/living/dining area, a queen bedroom, a full bath with shower and tub, and a laundry room/pantry. A second queen bedroom is upstairs, along with a room with bunk beds, and a full bath. The lower level bunk room has a queen bed tucked under the staircase, and a bunk bed and a "tent bed" around the corner, as well as a foosball table and TV. Guests love that the kids can hang out in a separate space downstairs while the adults socialize on the main floor.

Other things to note
Do you like to fly fish? The Black River runs through our property and is stocked with Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout a mile or so downstream. Look up the VT Fish and Game website for stocking fish in the Black River, Town of Cavendish, Windsor County.

Cavendish is a great little town close to Okemo for skiing, and there are lots of other things to do in the area year-round. Popular destinations under an hour away include Manchester, Killington, Hanover, NH/Dartmouth, Woodstock, Quechee, Weston, Grafton, Mt. Ascutney, Long Trail Brewing, Harpoon Brewery, and more.
